Late Night and Pets are pretty good. Don't get Generations, there isn't much in it.

I think it's staged as well. The whole room looks thrown together. The enlightened people here on the forums have learned to not get our hopes up about stuff. :lol: I was pleasantly suprised by Pets, though.

Packages run past than sims3packs. If you have just a few, the boost isn't huge, but if you have a ton, the performance increase can be noticeable. A quick word of caution though. Packages can't be seen in the window that pops up when you start the game, so if you want to uninstall packages, you'll have to do it manually.

There's two kinds of mod files. Sims3Pack and PACKAGE. Pack files are put the downloads subfolder found in the Sim 3 folder which is itself found in the Electronic Arts folder, usually in my documents. Ugh, the build/buy music that came with the base game was horrible. I tolerated it a first, now I just turn off my speakers. LN has a build/buy music that's slightly better.

I like late night a lot, but be honest, I waited until direct2drive had it on sale for $10, and I wouldn't have gotten it for $40. What style of play do you like? Do you play single or couples or young adult/adult sims? Then this would be more suited to you. I'd recommend waiting for a sale or for EA to drop the price…

There are so many great worlds and CC out there that you shouldn't get this world, but that's my opinion. There are some great sites out there. Just avoid the sites where you actually have to pay for CC objects, because what they are doing is completely illegal.
