@Nore I think it's possible to over clutter a lot. Personally, I like to add lots of detail but that doesn't particularly mean to put so much stuff that it begins to look cluttered. Everyone, especially @rosemow, It would seem the reinstall of my game fixed the issues I was having. I have started to build a new house and I have had no weird color issues or items that will not place. I'll let you know if that changes, though I don't think it will. Also, thing is, I started to save the family I created to my library and when I went into their house, lots of items were corrupted and changed to weird colors. So I decided not to save it. This also tells me that the problem occurred after I had placed them in a house. I played that house for a while and there was no…

Thanks @rosemow. Let's just hope the new install fixes them. I had to lose my WIP and I'm going to try and rebuild it the same way, if I can. At least there's a good chance I got rid of the problem but we'll see. Not today though. Tomorrow I'll start and I'll see.

Yes, I deleted everything. I didn't want anything left from the previous install because I didn't want the same problems perhaps to be carried over to the new install. I just thought that when I uploaded my WIP to my library that it would be saved online. I was obviously wrong and I won't make that mistake again. Next time…

So, it looks like my library is not an online place, just a folder on my computer. And, when I uninstalled the game and removed all my files, my library was deleted too, plus all the houses I built and have in the Gallery are still there but they no longer appear in my Library because I reinstalled the game. What a bummer!…

Well, the repair didn't work. I'll try @rosemow 's idea about cleaning out the cache and if that doesn't work, the only other thing will be a complete reinstall. Wish me luck.

@Pamtastic72, nope, I never use mods or cc in my builds. I just recently reinstalled Windows 10 and also reinstalled my Sims game, so something had to go wrong when I did that. I'm sure something will fix it but I'm waiting until tomorrow. I work nights and I've got to get in bed for some rest. I'll get back to you guys…

@rosemow, No, I use a desktop. I did think of that after saying I would reinstall. So tomorrow I'll first try to repair the game and if that doesn't work, I'll save my new house and a family I started in my library and reinstall. Hopefully at least that will work. I learned something else; some items will not be placed because the footprint is missing, which tells me my game is corrupted somehow. Sounds like I need to do a reinstall and see if that fixes the issue. I don't understand why this is only with a few of the items. Several items when I try picking them up to place them in…

@rosemow, they finally showed up. I did another search for my EA I.D. and I got to my stuff. Then suddenly everything popped up in my library, so problem solved. I suppose my newly installed game just had to finally connect. Thanks for all your help, I appreciate it.
