Do we need to be in a specific neighbourhood to trigger his visit? I've never lived in the Growing Together neighbourhood and have yet to get a visit from him.....
That is the big issue more than the loading screens. The fact sims won't have full needs when you come back to them, similar to when toddler sims gonto daycare and come back a mess wih no ability to develop their skills. Sounds very control freaky (I don't have kids otherwise I'd be a massive helicopter parent probably)…
So it's more than likely fake but it's also kinda a possibility for scooters to be a thing. Hear me out......Lambrettas are a BIG thing in Thailand and lots of people use motorbikes and scooters. It's possible for them to be just like bikes as transport . Really they'd just be a reskin and some new animation for starting…
It is nice having different style choices for activity tables to match a kids style but yeh.....it'd be great to get something new. I miss the toy oven. They could give us a double skill build for mental and creativity then when you max them both out you could start building cooking/baking.
I have a Pinterest board devoted to builds. It's a mixture of floorplans and also pretty pictures of houses and gardens. I've also taken inspiration from houses I've seen out and about. I can't build a house from my imagination. It ends up being a box with terrible window and roof placement.
Added craftables would be epic. I'd love some a new rug and tapestry wall art or something. Maybe some kind of wollen shirt/jacket. The nifty knitting craftables are really cute but I wouldn't say no to a few more.......
I hope it all ties in with the animal lover trait from Cottage Living and wool with Nifty Knitting. They've been good at thinking about cross pack compatibility recently though. Really excited for a desert world as they are often quite pretty also.
The items are nice and simple, there's not loads of either compared to HSY as an example. The texture renders and general quality look good. Bit underwhelmed by the kitchen set but they're still really nice. Right now I'd rather have the expansion focus on gameplay with this one because I've plenty of CAS and BB and am…
They said there was an update so skin and eye colour matches parents genetics. Plus caregivers don't have to keep putting the baby back into the bassinet with EVERY interaction which will be great!
Sim guru Morgan tweeted that occult toddlers are more likely to get certain quirks so they have thought about cross pack integration. Hopefully it will be well implemented 🤞 https://imgur.com/a/gXuM63h
Yeh I'd love some elder aspirations. At the moment I use the knitting one or the island living Beach Life aspirations but it'd be nice to have one that is more family orientated or retirement based.
I think it looks like a pergola which you get in loads of hot countries. That coupled with the terracotta tiles makes me think southern Europe influence. Colourful buildings suggest Southern America. There was also a survey a while back that mentioned Brazil so it's quite likely to be there or somewhere similar.
This might sound silly but I tend to save and leave a session once they're all in bed after I've met their needs for the day....so yeh I guess like putting your toys away tidily.
I'm hoping we'll eventually get the option to save styles. The in game Trendi app and thrifting seems like it was a, sort of, attempt. I would love to be able to set a dress code for school or work. Then all Sims would turn up dressed right and you could have posh uniformed schools if you wanted.
Did anyone else get some extra items? I didn't prebuy HS and when I downloaded Desert Deluxe I also got the wall lights, chair and speaker. I'm on PS4...... definitely not complaining just curious.
I like the idea of hacking and criminal career having consequences. Particularly if a Sim has a low level skill with chances of being caught lowering as they develop. It would be fun if at higher levels the dice roll makes it less likely to be caught but if you do then the consequences are higher. So a criminal Sim might…
So far the patch has been fine. I just roll with it. We don't have to worry about mods and they do fix things fairly quickly. Also we get lots of free stuff. The crashing patch was very upsetting. I'd get, like, 10 mins of gameplay and then it would crash. So frustrating. I would say that the patches have added a little…
