Though I haven't experienced game crashes for Sims 4 yet (thank God!) but I still do save and save as about every 2 hours or before a major event or before travelling.

that's weird... i keep getting twins and triplets. I play rotational and noticed that if a Sim was pregnant and I wasn't able to play when she gives birth, her babies will more often that not be twins. Not sure if it's just my game though...
