It seems to be getting worse now. Now it takes a few tries to get everything to install, and then when the game/launcher is restarted, it no longer shows up as installed!
Yeah. It keeps making me reinstall content. Installing content has become a huge chore with this new EA app; I end up spending more time installing content than actually playing the game!
I have switched from Origin to the EA App, and now Edit in Game won't work! It takes me to the launcher instead of the actual game, and when I press "play", the game just starts as if I am just playing it like normal.

I am having this issue. I have The Sims 3 installed through EA Desktop, and I even tried using compatibility mode and reinstalling. I really wanted to make a world for a machinima series!

Older games in general not working well with the new app (for some users) is a problem that will likely be addressed in future updates if people report it. > > I meant for this…
Every time I start up the launcher, my packs don't show up and then they are disabled the next time I start it again. Also, ever since moving to EA Desktop, I have had to reinstall all of my Store content every time I start the game, and then it repeatedly asks me to log in. It's as if EA is deliberately trying to break…
