After reading crinrict's files thing, it actually made perfect sense to me. The folders (options, saves, screenshots, tray, custom music and mods) all contain the content you have in TS4. The only content I had created were a few saves, one screenshot and some Sims, so those were the only folders I backed up.…

Okay, I think I understand the tray folder.... the link to the origin article isn't opening for me though. I remembered yesterday I got a message when opening Origin a few weeks ago that Windows Vista is no longer supported. Might that have something to do with the Gallery problems?
