I might have played the first game on some occasion (honestly, I don't remember) but The Sims 2 is the game that made me fall in love with the franchise. It surprised me to see that so many people here on the forum have played since the first game! I only really know one person around my age who plays the sims except for…
@Jeansoo Oh yes I was talking about the sims 4 jealous! I'm so sorry, I didn't think about which forum I was writing on, at least now I know til next time lol
I would also say that I'm a storyteller player, and therefore play out the specific story that I have in mind. Although I do love generations/family gameplay as well, my stories almost always end up with the sim I'm playing having kids at some point in time.
I always play one at a time (although I don't always complete them) and I have never really thought much about switching them, but it sounds like a great idea that I will have to try out! :)
The mods really enhance the gameplay a lot. I play with the whim overhaul mod and the personality mod, and now I can't understand how I ever played without them! I have to check out the hobby mod as well. And I like that it doesn't affect sims whether or not I choose to act on the whims. As Atreya33 said, in sims 2 you had…
2℃ (so 36℉) clear and humid. It's very rare for the weather to be this mild at this time of the year in northern Sweden. A couple of weeks ago it was -36℉, which is actually more normal in January than this haha.

Oh and I forgot to mention, in this link you can find many ideas for family activities: https://mellindi.com/2021/01/01/20-gameplay-ideas-for-family-players-of-sims-4/ She has some other posts about gameplay as well! :)
I remember reading somewhere that conflicts are what make a story interesting, and I can't agree more with that! It could be big conflicts, like a divorce or sudden death of a family member, or it could be smaller ones like a disagreement in a relationship (maybe one sim is a total neat freak and falls in love with a slob,…
Hi everyone! I'm a longtime simmer from Sweden who was obsessed with the game in my childhood (the good old ts2 days) but stopped playing somewhere along the way. Luckily for me, I rediscovered my love for The Sims a couple of years ago. Since then I have completed a legacy challenge and just explored different aspects of…
