Not sure if someone already said this but I just noticed on my last play that sims can listen to "space woohoo" on the computer... :o My sim is in the astronaut profession and has a rocket on the home lot so I don't know if previously having gone to space triggers it or just being involved in the profession... but let's…

It's amazing how much is in this game. Yeah Lilith is a teen. The whole thing reminded me of sims playing in the tub or on the couch. I do vaguely remember waiters doing that, I think it's due to a low skill level or their just clumsy. :)

Bummer. I wonder if the problem is my CD, EA would consider giving me the TS2 UC are they still doing that if you provide proof of purchase?

No. I barely even played the last time it actually loaded properly. Maybe my CD just isn't functioning which would kind of suck

That is true, the reason I was bummed is that I managed to get him to complete his lifetime wish before dying so he had the cool tombstone. Thanks for the info!

I agree with you both and thanks for the help! Not sure if it's worth it to update the video card just to have to purchase a new system once EA shoves a bunch of EP's our way. I'm perfectly content with the TS2 for the time being as it runs really well on my desktop (I've long ago given up on TS3) :)

I discovered this as well (I tried the Can You Run It website I saw on a pervious thread). At this point it appears I'm sticking to TS2 as I don't have the cash to burn on a new desktop

I was scared about this as well, seeing as I have an intergrated chip set (Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset) and the demo works well for me, aside from a little bit of rough edges on the Sims themselves. Apparently my issue is my CPU though, good thing I wasn't planning on buying right away come launch.

Despite the fact that I haven't fully explored everything in the Sims 3, it doesn't hold my attention long enough to even get out of CAS. I said goodbye a while ago and have since gone back to the Sims 2. No intention of buying TS4 on launch day though

I love that the Sims wave to one another or have some sort of reaction to passing sims. The one thing that makes the closed world a little more bearable is the amount of sims that come past the house. Gosh I can't get over how much I love this installment of the series :mrgreen:

I wish that when the finally took down the Sims 2 website that they added a designated Sims 2 area to the current forms here. It would've given us all some place to continue our discussions. It's an fun little thing that definitely adds to the realism of the game! Not sure why they got rid of it with the Sims 3 and now 4 (though I do recall them saying there will be a gardener for public spaces)

Gardening comes with base game and is expanded upon with seasons. Basically with the basegame you have standard bushes, trees and flower beds.
