ok so after i do that through manage worlds it will automatically detect the upgrades in live mode?

Thank you @Simmerville ! This was very informative. I don't love the idea of constantly deleting the door and replacing it with an arch (I know i could just keep the arch but that just doesn't seem realistic for it to be open all the time). Or maybe I'll put the sales table out in front of the business. Thank u!

Just to clarify, the lot was set to a gym and no sim used the pool? Would be cool to see sims swimming laps. side question - Do sims autonomously use basketball court in a gym lot? I haven't tested that yet.

So I just tested this. (yes I'm aware I could have done this before I posted but maybe it will help someone else). When set as a spa, some sims will use the gym equipment but not many of them...only had like three sims use the gym equipment. just a cabinet and hood vent...which I always have above my oven and repairmen never had an issue before. I had my sim "replace" the oven with their money but they I just refunded it back to them because tenants shouldn't have to pay for replacement ovens! lol

sorry one more question. Does the MCCC tray importer setting override EA townies? So I will NEVER get an EA townie as long as my library is filled up? and it won't duplicate the same townies?

Ok i just looked up Home regions mod and that is very useful!! so I can use Home Regions mod alongside MCCC and it works together well? Imagine not having Judith Ward digging through trash in Evergreen Harbor or Nancy Landgraab sitting at the bar Glimmerbrook. As it should be!

pretty much what @Caerfinon said. I have a main save where I have to flag everyone I want to be gay/lesbian so they will marry same sex gender. I am not an occult player but when I was bored once with the Sims, I decided to make a spellcaster and have her complete both aspirations that came with Realm of Magic. It was really fun to mix it up and do something different. I'm thinking of doing the same with Vampires soon.

with the new pack....I may build a modern apartment on the 40x30 lot in Magnolia Promenade and have my sim live in that world. I've never had a sim live in that world before. And i'll make the other three lots modern cafe, restaurant, and bar

I wonder how shared spaces will work like laundry rooms or gyms...I wonder if sims you don't control but is a tenant will use them.

This happened to me too in the past after I decked out the makeup/costume rooms and the dressing rooms. So yea, if that is the case that each gig needs its own makeover - that kind stinks.
