I tried. I really did. I like some of the buy mode items - have used a few pieces in a current build - but the play was not my thing. I decided to give myself a solid hour to see how I liked it, but I pulled the plug after 30 minutes. I was part bored, part annoyed. I wasn't expecting that, and it is a bit of a bummer.

I was absolutely thrilled when we got the freely moveable doors, and I was also excited for this one. Until I noticed that all of my door and window mods don't work now. That is a setback, but once it gets straightened out it will be very welcome.

I feel really weird saying this, but I have actually never played the game. Not sure where I would even start. I have logged in almost 1100 hours, and pretty much all but 3 or 4 of them are building hours. I like the create a Sim, I love wandering the world, but it is all to find the perfect lot to build something.

Welp, I wasn't excited for this one, but it might be useful for the build items, at least. It will work for some of my industrial builds. But I think that's about it, at least for me.

Sigh. I just set up my brand new gaming laptop this afternoon, realized that everything now plays on ultra settings perfectly with no lagging or freezing, didn't take 10 minutes to load or 3 minutes to save. Perfect. Then I updated the game, and none of my in-use windows or doors work on the monster house I am making.…
