In sims 3, I always used money cheats! I couldn't stand my sims living in hovels! And I didn't fully understand all the ways they could make a living....so I was sort of a laid back, "let's-see-where-this-goes" player. In sims 4, I have turned into a colonist, and rotational player. I was going to try to play legacy, but…
I may be totally missing the worry of multi-tasking as it relates to having a functioning restaurant, but it wouldn't be impossible to code. You could code certain objects, i.e. a table to make a sim behave a certain way. For example, if they sold a restaurant ep, using the furniture provided would allow a sim to sit,…
The welcome wagon that came to my Sims door consisted of three ne'er do-wells, that ate stuff out of the fridge, watched TV and played on the computer. All this without my Sim so much as asking them in. And to top it all, they left with the cake. (which is okay, cause the cake is a lie)
I think it's very pretty. I keep putting a house in, moving the house, putting something else there...it will take me forever to fully populate it, but it's pretty cool.
I kind of miss them...but they drove me crazy too! I remember the first time one got into my house. I didn't know they were a part of the game, so I had no alarm, no nothing.....and soon no toilet! I was so mad!!! Now I could handle them!
Wow! I have seen the second picture in another thread...you must have posted it elsewhere. And when I first saw it, I was in love! I thought you must be a genius. I love the top house too! You have just inspired me...and I can't wait till the new lots come out. Thanks so much for sharing the photos....they are wonderful!
Have you figured out a way to do a good walkout basement? I tried and it looked a hot mess! Building in a lot of ways is easier, but the hills were more realistic!
I was watching a youtube Let's Play sims 3 a few days ago...and as the sim was racing around the town, there were hills!!! I missed them so much! I hadn't even realized how much till that moment. I wasn't great at landscaping with hills, but I always loved the challenge. I agree with you wholeheartedly!
In sims 3, I alway used money cheats!!!! But now my sims start off with what they can afford and plan and save for their dream house. Since I play rotationally now, usually when I am really wanting to build something, one of my families has finally saved enough to at least get the house, even if it's not fully decorated.
You are correct, there is no rule that says you have to be actively playing sims 4 to post.....I guess I just got confused because this is under the sims 4 General Discussions. And as for "rights", what I meant by that is, just because you can, doesn't mean you have to. And I'm sorry that you think having rights suck.
Positive: Love the building mode Negative: this forum.... I understand people are disappointed with the game, but good night, why not move onto another game? Or play sims 2 or sims 3? I understand people have the "right" to voice their grievances, etc., but I don't get why some that say they aren't even playing the game…
