  • Funnily enough, after seeing some stuff about Pleasantview playing order, and wanting to get back into some Sims gameplay. I was looking at populating the hoods and thought the Newsons would be a really interesting family to play in Pleasantview. I moved them into one of the 'trailer' lots, and can't wait to see how they…
  • To kick things off, let me introduce you to my first build: Sunken Bunker is an underground basement build fit for the social introverts of Beverly Hills. This luxurious modern pad is fit for two young couples who want to hide away and throw party after party. Heed my warning: this lot doesn't come cheap! And here are some…
  • 66! Keep it low!!
  • The problem with Toddlers for the past two games has been that they're too similar to the baby stage and they always get somewhat left out in terms of content, interactions, etc. I know it's rather cheeky of them, but there could very well be in development a Toddlers/family themed expansion pack which not only…
  • What a brilliant build, this looks like it will fit in very nicely as a corner piece for almost any neighbourhood. Would be brilliant for celebratory meals out, if you're posting this I would love to add it into my game! Mr Twigs
  • Hey! I thought I had already replied to this but obviously not, you've got a great channel and I look forward to see what you'll be putting out there in the future. I'm from the UK, and I've got a channel of my own, at the moment it's not the best but I'm hoping to do a load of sims related series with it this year so we…
  • Thanks for posting these, there's some really good neighbourhood layouts here, I could never get mine to look even slightly easy on the eye. Will maybe have to get these into my game sometime soon! They'll make for some good shopping districts methinks! Happy Simming, Mr. Twigs
  • Modern Garden House Love it, what a brilliant concept. I really like the middle bit with all that greenery, and all those glass windows they really do complete the modern look. I really love the simplistic yet entirely practical layout. My only suggestion would be to work a hallway or front porch just because I think the…
  • Lovely house, I really like the kitchen/dining area you've done really well. I like the colour scheme on the exterior as well, the pink and biege give a nice tone to the entire build, especially with the pink being so bold. My only suggestion would be to play around with roofing styles and maybe curve the slant of the…
  • What a fantastic home. For your first build since owning the game this is really incredible - hopefully a hint of what we're to expect from you! I love the realistic approach to the architecture and the small but humble backyard. It really just screams cosy traditional family home. Very glad to see you back for another…
  • A brilliant build. Liking the Mediterranean feel on the architecture. Landscape matches very well, and very well done with the roof, it's definitely different but nice looking! - Twiggers
  • Are your display drivers up to date? Is there anyway you can find the game options so that you can alter the screen size?
  • Ctrl Shift + C -> resetsim "sim name" That should work. Hope I've helped. - Twiggers
  • I don't think it does unfortunately. The way I hear it there isn't an autosave feature this time.
  • Your specs seem to be ok for running the game. I'd just recommend doing a clean install of the game itself. You saying it's specifically to do with control changes then there is probably a file that has been corrupted during install that won't read properly when the game tried to access it. Hope I've helped. - Twiggers
  • Are you meeting the minimum requirements to run the game? Also I know a lot of people have had trouble allocating their video card to their game so I'd just advise you to make sure you're machine is set to use graphics from a dedicated graphics card rather than an onboard card. - Twiggers
  • Make sure you're installing it following recommended settings, turn off any background applications that you've got running other than those essentials. Also turn your Origin client to offline mode to prevent any lag. I'd make sure that your antivirus software is set so that it doesn't clash with the game .exe. - Twiggers
  • It sounds like a slight performance issue. You say you meet the requirements, but how well? As you may be just hitting low end specs. Also I'd recommend closing down any background applications that you don't need and setting your Origin client to offline mode before launching the game. Hope I've helped, - Twiggers
  • Make sure you haven't got anything running in the background that is unnecessary. Also, set your Origin to offline mode when you launch the game. A lot of people have been saying that doing that improves on lag issues majorly! - Twiggers
  • It sounds like there's a problem with your internet connection.
  • Questions: 1. When did you start playing the Sims 3? 2009 on release day. 2. What did you like most about the Sims 3? So much customization! 3. What did you spend most of your time doing in the Sims 3? Building building building. 4. One thing you won't forget about the Sims 3? The fact that it outlived my beautiful…
  • I think I have to agree that open neighbourhood and story progression are the two things I'm going to miss (oh and why we're here, CASt will be missed sorely but I won't get into that). I've never been a big player of community lots so the whole not-so-open neighbourhood thing isn't bothering me all that much, but I did…
  • Everyone has their own personal favourite generation of The Sims purely because every generation the game has been changed in a lot of ways and you're right, as humans we dislike change. I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say: we will all have that one Sims game that we'll go back to as our game even though we…
  • It's already been said but I'm gonna say it again: sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the game but thank you very much for your honest review. There's way too much bias on the forums at the moment so it's nice to hear some perspective. I get that there are die hard fans who are gonna love it and people who are too attached to…
  • Excellent build, I can't wait to see more from you. You look like a really talented builder. Tips for other people trying to find this video: searching for "Brick Bungalow Speed Build" got me to the video faster than searching the channel name. There are a lot of videos about red chairs. I know, weird huh?! Anyway, I…
  • Go into build/buy mode (should be F2/3) grab your object using the hand and then I presume rotate with < and > Note: I' going based on previous game controls. - Twiggers
  • I'd just make sure that whatever you've got running in the background is vital. I haven't had any experience with the game myself, but a common tip seems to be to put Origin in offline mode before you boot the game up (unless you're wanting to use the gallery in which case turn origin online just for that purpose) because…
  • It sounds like you have a background task running that is minimising the game for you. Make sure before you launch the game that nothing is running in the background that you don't need. Sometimes automatic software updaters will bring you out of a game and then disappear. - Twiggers
  • You might want to stop the installation and restart it. It sounds like it could have stopped working. - Twiggers
  • Is your DVD drive reading other discs? Make sure your disc drive hasn't disabled itself by default. I know my PC likes to disable the disc drive if there's an important update that needs to be installed. Failing that can you not redeem your physical game code using origin and install it that way? Hope I've helped, -…
