They each have their merrits. Sims 3 has Open Word, CAST, and a lot of features that have yet to be patched into Sims 4. But Sims 4 has better looking Sims (in my opinion), hats with any hairstyle, a far more expanded Child stage, multitasking, less lag... I prefer The Sims 4. I think it has a much better base to build…
When you have all these plans for a Sim, and they die before you can realize them. Or when you play too long and start speaking Simlish in your everyday life. o.o Or when you meet someone in real life you hate, and you can't just delete them as you please.
Teens can live alone without adults. Teens and children can also live together without adults, but you'll need to create an adult "chaperone" and then delete/kill them so they'll be fully alone. No one has to be related.
Toddlers (and pre-teens) are the obvious answer, so aside from that, I'd want open neighbourhoods. And of course I want more options for ghosts and death. <3
My townies are varied, but my played Sims tend to be the same style. All of my female Sims are conventionally beautiful, pale, and Goth/punk/alternative. I rarely make males, but they're usually kind of feminine and Goth/punk/alternative. But I do make their personalities, colours, and facial structures vary, so everyone's…
I'm got really excited when I saw "werewolf" and "witch", but then I realized they'll probably be costumes rather than lifestates. ("Witch" having its own outfit category gives me hope, though.) I'm not so sure "psychic" will be an NPC, considering it has a skill attached to it. Could it be a career track? I won't get my…
I agree with the above. Doing weird, sick, horrific things is what makes the game so fun, in my opinion. And that's where the best stories come from, like The Scumthorpe Files.
Are you using MC Command Center? That mod has story progression (couples having kids, moving, etc.) The base game doesn't change anything unless you play as the household and shake things up yourself.
I'd love a grocery system. I think that really needs to be implemented in the game soon. Add a grocery store venue and let my Sims decide if they want to be cheap at "Sim-Mart" or buy better quality items for more Simoleons at a place like Whole Foods.
If you create a household, you play as the whole household, not just the first Sim. You can gravitate towards one particular Sim, though, as mentioned above. You don't have to complete absolutely everything with one Sim, but if that's your style, then go ahead. Honestly, a lot of your questions vary from person to person.…
Who says the two are mutually exclusive? Preteens are much, MUCH different from Teens. There's no way a Preteen stage could replace Teens. Rather, they should be their own thing, with plenty of interactions unique to their stage.
Sometimes it bothers me. Honestly, I'd rather have the babies swaddled in blankets like TS3 and be able to take them wherever I wanted. I miss being able to see my Sims carry their babies places, rather than leaving them stranded in one room until they're children.
I meant when they change a baby's diapers. One of my households has a set of twin girls (Child aged) and a baby, and the twins have the "Change Diaper" option when they click on their little brother's crib. But they stretch when they change him, which is why I'm unsure if it's supposed to happen.
Honestly, a lot of my Sims are "CC-heavy". Not in the overly-perfect-Barbie way that's just shy of the Uncanny Valley, though. :confounded: LOL. I just tend to use a lot of CC clothes and hair. I actually like being able to mix up the art style a bit--some of my Sims have "alpha" hair, some have very pale CC skin, some…
I wish that someone would come out with a mod to enable some of the "adult" interactions (like running on the treadmill) for children. This may be related, but my Child Sims stretch slightly when they change diapers. Are they not supposed to do that either? LOL.
