Thank you so much! I have been looking all over for an answer and finally have one that works. I was really upset thinking I wouldn't be able to play my games. :)

If Supernatural didn't make my game crash I would recommend it. I love the different types of Sims you can make and all the different things they can do. I also love that they ride a broomstick.

I tried that before and it didn't work. The only thing I can do to fix it is uninstall SN, and that makes me sad. :( But thanks for the reply!

What is DEP? I have deleted those files, I don't have time right now to check and see if the game works but I will check later if I can.

Like starting a whole new game, or replacing a folder? I also tried to delete my cashe files but I couldn't find the files I was told to delete.

I had an issue registering my seasons game too on the web site. I e-mailed EA support and they gave me a new code and it worked. They were super nice.

You aren't alone, I seem to be having random crashes too. it started after the latest update. I think it happened once when I was saving then after that it's been random. Once it did it when my sim was at work, another time she was sleeping, another time it was after i spent an hour building a house and clicked live mode…

I had this problem too. I was able to redeem my code for the ice lounge but couldn't register the game here. I contacted EA customer support and they were awesome and gave me a new code that worked.

I have the exact same issue. I have not installed any new EPs and have zero custom content. It was working fine last week and now after the update I keep getting crashes. I am pretty sure it's from the update. I have Pets, Ambitions, Seasons, and High End Stuff installed.

Yes there are Unicorns in AP. There is no guarantee to see one every night, I think I read somewhere there is a 40% chance to see one. I used the 'Make me know everybody' cheat too and it does not make you know the unicorn, I think because it's a special character. I went to the world map at 8pm and with the time running…

If they don't have a high enough relationship they can't pick up and hold the pet. Maybe try and get their relationship higher. Other than that I have no idea.

As far as I know the only way to clean your horse is to brush it and clean it's hooves.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I did some googling and found out that the code was e-mailed, and some people had to contact customer service cause they weren't sent a code. I don't know if that helps, I am sorry if it doesn't, but that's all I could find.

I might be wrong but I heard the costumes were only released for console versions. Again I might be wrong, this is just what I heard at one point.

If the pet has an owner and a home it will have a last name. If it's last name is 'cat' or 'dog' or 'horse' it is a stray and has no real home. Check it's last name then look for that house in world view.

To get the create a pet demo go the navigation bar at the top of this page. Hover over 'games' and you will get a drop down of options. Hover over the 'tools' options. I got frustrated not being able to get a unicorn into my family so I cheated and added it that way. All I could do was feed treats and go for a ride. I couldn't edit anything. When I got one to finally join my family properly it was fine. Cheating definitely limits the options.

I had to be best friends with several neighborhood animals as well as be best friends with a cat, dog, and horse of my own. It wouldn't join until I owned a cat, dog and horse and was best friends with them all.

From what I have learned pets with the last name of 'dog' 'cat' or 'horse' are strays. The pets that have owners have their owners last name. At least this is what I have been told.

I noticed this too so I started playing my game in a separate window, not full screen. It's easier when customizing pets that I can flip between the game and the pic on my comp (usually on the internet). This is the only way I have personally found to avoid the dark screen. If there is another way I do not know of it.
