I find it depends on my mood, and what I want for my Sims. Like for instance this family I want her to become super famous and build a big mansion with a fountain in front. Sometimes I go really modern, sometimes traditional.
I usually stick with two adults and two or three kids. But reading this thread really makes me want to have a full household. Right now I’m taking a break and just playing a single sim and see where that goes, but it’s boring at times.
My first pick (though not on the list) would be ambitions but you already have it. Out of those three though I’d pick world adventures because you get to make basements and go to different worlds and explore tombs and go on adventures. You also get the introduction of photography and nectar making which is fun.…
This is mostly sims in general. But when; ....sims is the first thing in common with your spouse (now my wife) ..you get a plumbob tattoo to represent self control (sims 3 plumbob if you’re curious) ...you almost write an angry letter to a magazine giving credit for the whole sims franchise to some rando instead of Will…
I do fictitious a lot, only tried making myself when I was playing the sims 1. Now what I do though is I try to find something like an accessory or a neat piece of clothing, or a hairdo and then I build a sim around that.
Sorry. I'll clarify. It's this constant need to watch toddler or for sims to drop everything their doing (especially skill building) so that everyone can go watch the toddler. Even when they're just playing with blocks and you have stuff you wanted your sims to do other than stand there.
No. You have to wait until they are done work. Ask about career and that should give you their information about their job. Then when you go to the relationship panel you can see their working hours.
You are so very gracious to be doing this. I would pick the City Living. Would really enjoy to have my sims living in apartments and going to the festivals. This is the only expansion pack so far that I have a story line for. I want to re-create the tv show Sex and the City, and the main sim could do social media and blog…
Agreed. It would be nice to see some more emphasis on the elders. Especially being able to adjust how long they live for. I find that in the sims 3 they died too quick, and with having the Parenthood pack (even though I don't have it), they should be around longer.
Sorry about that. Couldn't figure out how to attach image at first. If you want to download him, name is James Dean, and my user name is SnazzySpike. Let me know what you think.
Not sure if you're still looking for a James Dean modelled sim. But after reading this I thought I might as well give it a try, for the fun of it. This is what I came up with;
I like it personally. It's handy if the rest of the family is doing some skill building or something and you can just send them on their way. But come on, "agressive"? Holy...... I think you need the definition of agressive. And honestly, it's just a game, meant for fun. If it's stressing, in a bad way, then it's time to…
That would be kind of expected. I just find right now that time is going too quick and want my new YA sim to enjoy more before family. Wish we had the customizable age sliders back.
I think it would be nice to have that option yes. Like I said I really like to decorate my sims homes with all sorts of stuff. But I'll just have to adjust my building skills so that the details are on the outer walls.
