IIRC that is a glitch and has been reported. The base/ foot-print changes size as you zoom way in and out....

Thankfully the dressed sim wasn't frying bacon.... :p It's a slight glitch, a sim gets naked and their action gets forced to cancel, and clothes aren't put back on. You were able to click her and change into an outfit I presume?

Did you continue to play the game? Did anything change? Or is she stuck with the pregnant stomach and moodlet? I know this gets old but we gotta ask, do you use any mods? I've never read about this before either.

Yes this bugs me. Tv-videos don't speed up to match the game clock, yet music does. I'd like it if my custom music didn't have to speed up. I can understand a sim jamming on the violin floppin all over at mach-3, the music prolly should speed up to match his animations somewhat.... But not my custom music coming out of the…

Do you use the MOO mod? If yes, that is likely the main culprit. Disable it while you go grab lots off the gallery.

Do you not have that file? I'm asking cause if you do have that file and its messed up, find the word "fullscreen = 1" and set that to 0 so "fullscreen = 0" and then save it. That will fire your game up in windowed mode. I'm just guessing here, worth a try anyway...

Add me to the list, as I'd like an option for a completely empty hood as well. As in, no townies walking around the neighborhood, only sims I've created from scratch and moved into a lot and played.

NBA 2k15 (EA-Sports) that was recently released, has a face-scan feature in it. It's tricky to use and get just right, as you can find in vid reviews etc on it, but when it does work it does well. That could totally work in the sims. I totally forgot about the facemaker in the sims 1... wow thats been a long time ago.

Yeah it looks like its your game options, under "Other" make sure to check your online options... When you have online disabled in there, it changes the gallery icon to a folder icon like you are/were seeing...

I tinkered for a while and this seems to be a bit over my head. Anyway I have Win-Grep and that works great, a step in the right direction for me, so much easier to find stuff now. Thanks again.

I think he just meant it solves the problem of stuff breaking constantly. Stuff still breaks using that mod, but the chance is much much lower. I wasn't aware that there was a bug with the "unbreakable upgrade" though. Good to know, thanks...

I think it helps to build up your Handiness skill and keep upgrading objects as much and often as you can. At level 10 you get an option to "instant upgrade" an object and I've noticed after you do that, it won't break again. At least so far.... But yeah the higher quality appliances do much better and helps out I'm sure.…
