Yes, we should get something special. Something big. Don't be cheap with this one. See that list you gave us to choose from? Give us all of it. Go big or go home. 25 years is a a big deal. Act like it.
EA is a multi-billion dollar company. They can afford to do more and do it better. They choose not to. So, Larian takes home Game of the Year. That simple.
If you are familiar with how Baldur's Gate 3 was made, you'll know that the creative vision was at no time limited by players. It was only expanded and built upon. The devs had a pretty open line of communication with players. They didn't hide anything. It was rare that players didn't like what was being done...but when…
Please, bring up Baldur's Gate 3 as much as you like! EA needs to hear it. Larian asks players what they want (instead of telling them what they want), they have that amazing early access to work out bugs, and they were rewarded for it. Sims 4 would benefit from adopting those obviously successful business practices. Of…
I have learned to embrace random traits. I let my Sims make horrible mistakes. I let them make bad choices. If they have terrible whims lined up, I make it happen. They still have pretty good lives, but they also have stress/fear/anxiety.
I was forced to switch to the app today. At first I was like, "Oh, this looks okay." Then I started my game and...crash. Want to play a family? Nope. Want to start a new save? Nope. My plan was to not switch to the app until all the bugs were worked out, but apparently that's not acceptable. So, now I'm going to bang my…
Oh...and the "Fear of the dark?" Yeah, that's annoying. It's full, bright daylight, and my Sims start freaking out about the dark. Maybe it's more of an existential dread kind of darkness they fear? It's definitely not literal darkness.
All of my Sims with high level jobs get the "dead end job" fear. Pretty much all of my Sims are deeply unhappy about something. I waffle between being annoyed by this and recognizing that people in real life have the same thing happen to them. But as for fulfilling the Sims' wants and dispelling the fears? Nah...not going…
Yeah, I did that. It still didn't work. I haven't tried firing it up since the patch yesterday. I may try it today if I'm feeling brave, but since I'm seeing so many people say they are still having trouble with most of the reported bugs, I'm not feeling very brave.
Lots of folks here have never taken an anthropology class and it shows. Polyamory is practiced in lots of different ways. It doesn't offend or worry me in the slightest (since I know that "monogamous" humans aren't truly monogamous...The best humans can manage is serial monogamy.)
There's lot of videos out there of well-known Simmers demonstrating the bugginess of the curved walls. So, while it may be possible to build without issues, it's not probable.
If it's any consolation, there's lot of us in the same boat right now. They're supposed to be be pushing out a big patch for it at the end of this week. So, keep an eye out for that.
Yeah, Kits are much better value. I remember paying 99 cents for ONE hair. At the time, I wasn't savvy to the whole microtransaction thing. My brain just said, "It's only ONE dollar! That's no big deal!" Now I understand that's how they get you.
