  • Hey Conor! Thanks for inviting our feedback! Looking forward to this pack so far, though the object count in the vote overwhelmed me! Q1. Crosspack Features Seasons - homemade knit clothing (sweaters, hats) should leave Sims extra warm, even when set as their everyday wear in hot temperatures Cats & Dogs - pets should be…
  • Teaching younger Sims to knit could be implemented by having a children's craft table object where child Sims can be "mentored" by older Sims to create smaller, more basic products (i.e. finger puppets, basic soft toys like Yarny?). This would increase the child's creativity skill, but becoming Knitting skill points when…
  • I think many of us would be very pleased with rocking chairs being added as a minor gameplay item (a la the windchimes, drinks tray, or windmills of Backyard Stuff - not the main focus but fitting with the theme). These would be particularly useful for elder Sims gamplay! Another gameplay item could be a sort of…
  • Love that this shows how invested you are in what the fans would like to see in the series - best part of having the Gurus interact with us!
  • I replied to Kimmi with some ideas I'd been working on for a new car-themed Game Pack a while back, tentatively titled "Burnin' Rubber". https://twitter.com/SimmerWill/status/883518344376332289 Ideas would include: - Sims learning to drive in a new 5-level driving skill - mastering it earns you a license - Sims can become…
  • Some feedback that likely would have changed the results: A ranked ballot system would have made it very clear that though a vocal majority had laundry as a first choice, there likely would have been a much larger majority that would've ranked it as their least preferable choice. Had we been able to rank the choices 1…
  • I bet the vote was a bit of a wash, I'm worried that laundry will be too dry of a feature... Hopefully this won't deter(gent) me from buying the SP in the end. Maybe once we iron out a few of the last details it'll become a bit more exciting.
  • My guess would be that if they have a system in place like World Adventures where any harvestable can be used and the name of the nectar just changes, we could see any "normal" harvestable (i.e. new fruits) be able to be used, but that any exotic or supernatural harvestables would not work because they'd need some new…
  • If anything, debates and discussions are critical to the voting process! It's great that as a community we can share opinions and learn about others' viewpoints before casting our vote. Rather than hastily picking one option or another, it becomes a much richer experience when we all can have a discussion - that's why we…
  • Oh wow I didn't even think of that! I know we've seen nectar-making associated with France before (Champs Les Sims in WA) but I'd love to have a true mediterranean town like Monte Vista in a non-store pack! Nectar-making could be a great fit if we ever got a pack with a world like that. Perhaps a Romantic Getaway themed…
  • Agreed. Unfortunately even though laundry seems to have a big fan following, I don't see it adding a ton of interesting gameplay that will really invigorate my gameplay. It doesn't add in new ways to play for me, I already can make my Sims do chores, especially after Parenthood. That's the reason I thought I'd break down…
  • That's understandable! I predict a lot of people who don't automatically go for laundry may choose between Off the Grid and food preserves. I have a bad feeling we may split the vote and laundry may end up with the most votes, but at least the team can see we care about these other features!
  • Disagreeing with someone's point of view is not disrespecting them. I can say to someone who loves peanut butter that I don't like it, it doesn't mean that I'm disrespecting them.
  • Would love to see both Bees and Chickens added. We need some animals and it would also give farming lots something new to them other than just gardening. Would love to see a death by bees option! @SimGuruGraham Is there any way to know a detailed list of what would be included with each gameplay option when we vote? For…
  • It's really a bummer that in a pack all about family play there's a lot of "Schoolwork" and "parenting" focus but very little that the community has been asking for. Where is the new playground equipment (jungle gyms, slides, swings, treehouses, bouncy horses) or new toddler hairs?
  • *Incoming post all about kitchens and doors/windows both of which are often overlooked unless they're in a modern style!!* Kitchens Whatever aesthetic you choose PLEASE @SimGuruKimmi can we have a new kitchen set. We've had so many packs but so few kitchen sets and it's really tough to design unique looking houses when…
  • I would love for there to be a seaside town based on the British seaside which could ship with a pack (GP?) all about amusement parks. It would be a great opportunity to bring back piers!
  • I think the shoe was either a reference to an alien abduction (Seasons) or that a couple of sims had gotten, well, "busy", on top of the sign and she had left a shoe up there.
  • There's nothing wrong with the Tree of Prosperity. It was a really cool item, it just didn't offer anything completely new like most of the PC after it did. All I'm saying is that hopefully there'll be some new functionality to the PC included with the market. If not, it'll still be a cool object to have, and it'll be…
  • It's going to give us new animations but not new functionality. Unfortunately EA's criteria for PC is just new animations. That's why we get items like The Tree of Prosperity and Fountain of Youth which have preexisting functionality, different from the basketball net and japanese grill for example.
  • So are the carts going to act just like the Grocery Store rabbit hole?
  • First off I just want to say that Lisa and Sarah did a great job with the live broadcast. You've got great chemistry together, you seem like great friends! Lisa you should try playing with walls cutaway, it's by far the best way to play, and the tab key enters cameraman mode which allows you to zoom in really close with…
  • I'm so impressed with the deals today! I was seriously considering buying the gold version of Lucky Palms yesterday but I'm glad I held out. I missed the casino but there was no way I was passing up the standard version for 850 simpoints. Now I'm just going to have to wait for the casino to go on sale in a few weeks!
  • Because universities don't take up the space of a 64x64 lot. Universities like the one I'm at now have multiple residence buildings, many academic buildings (with the lecture halls and classrooms inside), multiple cafeterias, multiple libraries, gyms, a bookstore and retail food outlets. Each of those could have their own…
  • Oooh! I've always debated whether or not I would shell out some hard earned cash to buy it. I definitely am going to try and get it now, like Kebachet said, it'll be perfect for Master Suite!
  • That is such a cute little house! I love how open and modern you've made the interior, while the exterior could fit into the woodland feel of HS. I've bookmarked this thread and am going to plop down some of these lots into my own HS, because I don't think I'm going to be able to redo all of the lots myself!
  • What I personally find ridiculous is that for 8000 Simpoints it costs $96.00 CAD when the Canadian dollar (while not right now) has been at parity for quite a while with the USD, and yet it costs a RIDICULOUS $16.00 more in Canada! It's highway robbery. :x
  • What she said was very valid, IE is notorious for causing problems downloading store content, switching to Firefox could have indeed made a difference. As AznSensei said, there are different site links per set, some can be faulty, clearing your cache and switching browsers is a standard fix in order to make sure you are…
