The same thing happened with University. You have to wait until the game is released for it to download. It's not the best system, but I wouldn't worry just yet.

Oddly it's working okay for me. I still get error code 12, but that's down to me not remembering to save often enough. Obviously I shouldn't have to save every 5 minuets, but it is workable. I get error code 12s when I don't save often enough, you could try saving after modifying each house hold.

As far as I can tell mine seems better. I can do more editing in cas and build mode and I've been able to play longer. Unfortunately I haven't had a huge amount of time to play. Hopefully I'll get more time this week.

Aspyr was the company, although I don't think they had permission to port the games after a certain point. I remember reading that they would have liked too, but for some reason they didn't. I wonder if ea wouldn't agree as they were planning to do it themselves.

I don't use CC so it's not that, all I can suggest is save, quit and restart regularly, clear out your cashes and don't even think about choosing clothing in CAS when you try to create a sim or a family. I think it looks great, but like with the 70,80,90's pack I won't be pre-ordering it or buying it at all until the game is made playable again. Which unfortunately I don't think will happen any time soon.

I would agree, I don't think I have had quite as many problems as others have for as long, but it is getting progressively worse and at this point the vast majority of us seem to have the similar issues. Hopefully it should be easy to recreate and we are able to get a fix for it soon.

If it helps narrow it down at all I have the most problems with young adult and adult women clothing wise. I've got all the EP and SPs installed and a lot of the store. I can mess with hair a bit but I don't often change it between ages and usually go with base colours since I've been having problems. CAS always works best…

That is so strange as I'm the exact opposite. Hair I can manage reasonably well, it's the clothing that kills mine. I now save in threes, top three amended save, bottom three amended save and heaven forfend you try different clothes on them! It's one outfit only in mine.
