I have RL feels too. When my two Sims broke and both got so upset they vomited, I felt really bad. I had to take a break from the game for a minute. And funny enough, the relationships they have now don't seem to have the same spark. Only problem was, one of them (a witch) was constantly casting Love Spells on himself (on…
Wow. Than Story Progression has never worked right for me ever in all these years. I also have no babies in town. Ever. What mods help with this? @mw1525 LOL I guess I should gossip more.
Literally the most complicated search and rescue operation I've ever been a part of. I FOUND HER! * I had to go into the oldest saved game I had. * NRASS find graves for Alesha (daughter) and Albert (husband of Ada). * Using my Witch Sim, I cast reanimation spell on both Alesha (daughter) and Albert (husband) graves. *…
The challenge has been to find her. She doesn't show up in NRASS demographics at all. IDK. Maybe she's a glitch. It's hard for me to believe the game generates NPC families with a single father backstory. Again, I have Alesha (the daughter, brought back from the dead) and Albert (husband to Ada, also brought back from the…
No, by this point they're probably like 3rd generation randomly generated townies. What's odd is, they're not single, they're a family. I didn't realize the game generated whole families by the 3rd generation or more. It's fascinating. It's mostly become a haunted quest. @TreyNutz I did try resetSim and maybe she reset…
Master Controller fixes this, BTW. I've been playing Sims 3 quite a lot lately and with MC the game sticks, but you run NRASS and problem solved. So it's not really a valid complaint anymore. The modders have always done the work the development team should have been doing in the first place. I for one, feel we players…
Everything should be converted to whatever Sim-time is - I recently clocked my Sim taking 4 hours to get home from Windenburg to Myshuno. Weren't the loading screen supposed to ease time strains?
There is so much wrong with the Sims reactions to the world around them, I don't think it will ever get fixed. Not holding my breath anyway. Sorry to be a party-pooper, but after three years...it's really just about putting band-aids on gaping wounds.
I see this thread started in 2015 - two year ago. I don't think anything has changed in the game that I've noticed. You'd think a company wouldn't want to give their players headaches.
It's not minor. It's part of the immersion of the game as a life SIMULATION. It's one of the many things missing from this game. I was just thinking about leftovers today.
I like the chance cards. I actually wish there were more. I also miss the opportunities of Sims 3 - actions you had to accomplish in order to get a career boost. I feel like it helped give our Sims more to do. Those should have arrived with GTW.
