So I just sat here for the last hour or so reading this whole thread instead of taking a nap like I should have. xD I can relate so much to everything here with the journey my Sims have been on with this game. There's a few things that I can't really do without in a Sims game: vampires, magic, pets, a generations-type…
For me it's - MC Command Center, absolutely will not even play without this mod lol - Meaningful Stories: Better and more lasting emotions for Sims and not being happy about every small thing - Bienchen's Townie Overhaul: stops the game from generating so many unnecessary homeless Sims - Bienchen's Whim Overhaul: no more…
Yeah same here on the MS, which is a point I was getting to with my first post but somehow left out, lol. MS has come to be one of my essential mods because it kills the overpowered happy buff from decorations and just overall makes the Sims moods and emotions more realistic instead of constantly happy from every little…
I used to play with SOL, but found myself using less and less of the features as time went on. I liked the missing teeth for children and the bruised look after fighting, but unfortunately it's tied to the same file as acne which happens way too often for my taste. I don't feel like my adult sims should have to constantly…
I also will add: Ever since Strangerville I have had problems with bathtubs becoming glitched after having vines grow in them even after the vines are cleared out (some kind of routing failure occurs), which causes my Sims to be unable to bathe their toddlers or pets unless I sell the bathtub and replace it. This is very…
Almost forgot about this one.... I have had problems with Sims leaving after any type of party (or even sometimes after just being invited over)... if I invite 10 Sims to a party, at least 2/10 Sims won't leave when it's over and I have to either wait for the "ask to leave" option to appear which it sometimes does…
Toddlers with stuck objects Yeah, me too, and this is a recent one for me. Restaurants without hosts or waiters spawning (in Sulani) Haven't had this problem personally. Sims jumping from across the room and back again had this since before the last update Reading a toddler to sleep downstairs while the toddler is upstairs…
I'm waiting to hear about these, too. Haven't updated yet as a few other important mods I use are broken and waiting for updates, but I use a handful of Bienchen's mods and if anyone wants to guinea pig it, I'd be interested to know.
Uni for me. My game still feels like it's missing something without it. I'd be ok with a farming EP or any other original idea but only AFTER I have my University and magic pack!
Based on the fact that they're polling right now for farming EP features my guess is that it's in early development and we might see it next year. I'd still wager that Uni is next. They work on these packs for 1-2 years before release. People found witch-related code in the game ages ago and we're just now getting the…
This has happened in my game occasionally since the beginning. It seems that if you have your Sims traveling away from the lot frequently, sometimes the baby's portrait gets stuck on green even if the motives are actually really low. One way to test this is to go into build mode and pick up the baby bassinet and drop it…
Since Sims 4 does not have story progression, unplayed Sims will not have children on their own and so you won't see many toddlers around. The only time you'll get them is if a premade Sim is pregnant by default (as in the case of Jasminder Bheeda) or if the game generates a family with a toddler. There are mods for story…
I would have recommended Vampires since you're a fan of supernatural Sims. I've gotten a lot more fun gameplay and replay value out of the Vampire GP. City Living has its fun moments but most of the stuff gets old pretty fast. Both packs have their value of course but I'd recommend Vampires over CL for anyone who is into…
I haven't attempted to plant one in a park or community garden, but I did plant one at the Science lab when my Sim worked there and it frequently ate his coworkers. I suspect it would work about the same on any community lot.
Sims 4 has no story progression though unless you're using mods. I think households marked as unplayed sometimes will change careers but that's about it. Played households are left alone.
I like some of the ideas here but I think it would have to be about more than just dating. I really want the chemistry system back especially with a good variety of turn ons/offs to choose from. Please, nothing like the icky Sims 3 version of chemistry which had pretty much all Sims being attracted to each other. Please no…
I've had a few Sims that I could swear had phantom traits as well, and not from changing traits in CAS after they had been placed in the world. I don't mind it really because it adds more dimension to their personality.
I don't think it started with that patch, at least not for most people. It started with the toddler update because toddlers all have the "sweet" voice tone and for some reason they just keep it now when they age up rather than have their voice change to a male tone. It's a bug for sure and I hope they fix it soon. It's not…
@zuzumax2 Coolspear at Sims Asylum has a mod to disable autonomous water drinking. You have to register there but it's worth it. Your Sims may be upset at you for taking away their favorite pastime, but your sanity will thank you.
I like the idea behind the monster because I actually enjoy features that disrupt my Sims' lives a bit and add a little chaos. I think they made it too frequent, though, which is why it bugs so many people. The light works for me but apparently it doesn't for many people, which is another problem. In my game I use the…
Those are really good ideas. I'd love to see that implemented somehow, either with witches or as a new supernatural type (Elementalists). That would be really fun.
All I really need is Pets and University, as far as EPs go. The rest of the packs could be new ideas and I'd be content with that. I don't want every EP that gets released for Sims 4 to be rehashed from past versions, I would like to have some new content too. I'm expecting Seasons will come but it's never been an…
I think I prefer the system of water/power getting shut off if you don't pay the bills, over the repoman. It's more realistic and to me it actually feels like more of a consequence because if you have broke Sims that can't pay their bills they have to sit around with no electricity, and eventually no water to shower or use…
