  • Awww poop. I wish I went on the forums before I done this! :'( hopefully they won't be too long in fixing this.
  • I haven't been playing TS4 or been on the forum for months but as soon as I saw this update it was the first things I done. I was so happy to find I had a little baby ready to grow up to be a toddler. I had completely forgot. They're amazing and so cute!!!! Looking forward to playing after work today.
  • That's actually so good to know! I wondering that today when playing if it done this.
  • I dont use CC in TS4 as I'm very happy with the way it looks :). I have been tempted for a few recolours though, especially for beds as they're extremely limited. I might one day. In TS3 and especially TS2 I had CC. I wasn't crazy with it though, it was only for looks and sometimes for a little more variety but by the time…
  • That stood out for me too! I'm actually looking forward to cockroaches. Now there's a sentence I thought I'd never use haha.
  • I'm guessing no. As it says you will be limited. Edit: https://www.thesims.com/en_GB/news/the-sims-4-city-living-news link. :) Edit 2: but by looking at the trailer the penthouses look completely editable like building an actual house on the roof of a sky scraper. So I'm actually looking forward to that!
  • I've been having the same problem... well not problem... I quite like not having to constantly weed my plants as much. But I have noticed it. I've had to repair my game for a different glitch and it didn't change the weed situation when I went back in to play. @To7m @sam123 hush now... this is a family friendly forum... B)…

  • I personally don't mind the small lots. I stay in the UK and our homes and such tend to be quite "cosy" in size so most of my lots are the same in The Sims. I do completely agree though that we do need more stair options. P.s. I like your design. Can't wait to see it completed.
  • The pictures look amazing, thank you.
  • I expected this. So actually I'm not surprised or angry. I'm just gutted that I thought right. I would of loved my sims to have cooked in their restaurants as I always have a dedicated sim in my family with maxed out cooking and baking skills. I'll still buy it though as it is exciting to have restaurants back and the…
  • Some pictures of one of my sim. :) I wasn't planning on making him the heir of the family household since I adore his cousin (my DP) but he's just so much fun to play with. He recently joined the police force so I thought I would try and get him fit. Looking stressed at work. It's a hard job. Okay, so that's a lie. But I…
  • Was forced to watch this in college. You should have seen the room trying to hold back the tears. Absolutely heart breaking, one of the saddest movies I've seen. YES. So many movies I've seen where I'm more concerned about the animal than the main character. Mine has to be the opening to the Pixar movie "Up". I actually…
  • Maybe that's why I love the art style of TS4! I'm a big kid at heart. Won't say no to a wee Pixar or a Studio Ghibli movie. I have to admit, I don't like how nothing is truly round, they all have edges, even the pots and pans. But apart from that, it's my favourite design of the Sims.
  • I do the same! I'm still on the same family since I started from the beginning. We're only on gen 5 right now because I have them on the long lifespan but I've had to start a new save a couple of times and then bring my family back into the game.
  • I'm happy to hear that TS4 is doing well. I enjoy the game and I don't want it to be over anytime soon. I'm waiting for my toddlers! This is encouraging and has given me extra confidence that this game will continue improving with more content. Hopefully it will continue to do well enough to justify a TS5 (in EAs eyes) in…
  • I personally think TS4 is a good sequel, but I believe it will become great once they include toddlers. For me, that is the main issue this game has. After recently having a shot of TS1 and TS2, although amazing games, I found myself missing certain features of TS4. I missed how much you could truly customize a Sim in CAS,…
  • I am defiantly buying it! I am very much looking forward to it. Might need to wait a little while until I can get it though... Just had a massive vet bill for my unwell kitty. :(
  • I would also love the return of the dinner with the headmaster to get my sim kids into private schools. I hope they look into this idea:)
  • Wow!! I spent so much time on that site. I loved reading player stories. I remember this site so much more than TS1. The TS1 website is back in the day when we still had dial up Internet and I was never allowed on because it cost too much money. Ha!
  • I'll probably notice more now when you say it like that haha. Those noises gave me nightmares. I used to have to turn the volume down everytime it turned to night because of the burglars. I continued to do this for the first 6 months of TS2 because I was so nervous to hear that noise. Took me a lot of courage to turn the…
  • Sims 2 - OFB of course. I absolutely loved having my own businesses. I also loved nightlife for the activites (restaurants!) and of course seasons because of the weather. Sims 3 - generations, although I felt was the weakest with content, it was the most needed. A close second was island paradise, I loved having a hotel…
  • I miss the moving head! Was gutted they got rid of that actually.
  • I can't agree MORE about how frustrating it is when you set your sim a bunch of tasks and they go off to do something else. I am a very organised player, constantly thinking in advance so I normally have a lot of actions up. It's only been recently I've noticed that my sims are cancelling their actions to go do something…
  • I like the noises too. Sometimes I complete whims without knowing so the little jingle let's me know.
  • I never knew that could happen! Thank you for sharing!
  • I quite like watching other people play. It gives me ideas. Twitch is great for that. I look forward to seeing how a simguru plays as well. I wish they could show us "behind the scenes", show us what goes into making an object or how a sim reacts the way they do when something changes in their environment. I would be happy…
  • Really sorry but I have to also disagree. Toddlers should have been in the base game. Taking away toddlers felt like, for many Simmers, that EA was giving family players the middle finger. I personally dont feel like that but it is a bit of a kick in the teeth. Bringing toddlers back will help bring back a big part of what…
  • Oh I love this idea. I hope they do it!
  • Forgot how amazing TS2 businesses are. I've really enjoyed the pictures.
