I just heard the news and I'm so disappointed. I've always been sure I would definitely buy the game, but at this point, I don't know anymore. It's such a shame that they cut so many things out of this game, as IMO, the graphics are amazing, and the emotions definitely will make for interesting gameplay. However, cutting…
Haha, I might have to do that too. :P I usually don't end the affair, but after giving Kaylynn(?) a makeover, I realised she wasn't that pretty, whereas Mary-Sue is gorgeous with a change of hair and clothes! I also gave makeovers to the twins, the really pretty too except they have really big ears so I have to give them…
30 seconds of unproductive gameplay doesn't mean much to me. In TS3, I mainly played single sims, so going back to the house to play with another wasn't really an option. I'd rather have loading screens and have my sim load onto the lot with all the textures and everything properly loaded, than have to go their and wait…
I like the complexity of the game. Unlike TS3, your sims are actually faced with difficulties and challenges. The needs drop at a quicker rate, especially on pregnant sims, and it means you have to put a lot more effort into looking after them. I like that they can't just go out and get the job they want, they have to wait…
Honestly, loading screens never bothered me. I'm currently playing the UC and mine take 20-30 seconds. In TS3, it would take my sims longer to get in their car and travel there, especially in places like University. A good thing with loading screens is that they actually make the lot worth visiting. The lots are always…
The Pleasants (TS2 version) have always been my favourites. I'm currently playing them in the UC. I will re-make them if I have to, but I'm fairly certain that they will be pre-mades.
Well I already owned TS2 but have been playing the UC since I was missing a couple of EP's and SP's. I'm currently playing my favourite family, the Pleasants. :D I've re-done parts of the house, still trying to make space for a nursery, as I want them to have another child. I've also given the whole family a makeover, and…
At this point, I'd like to say I'm already done with the Sims 3. It's just not worth sticking around for. If I don't like TS4, I'll still be able to play Sims 2 so I think I'll be fine. I will miss parts of the community. Not the side that hate and bash each other for having different opinions, but the small parts we're…
Most of the praise for TS2 is because of the gameplay. The graphics don't look as good now, but going from the way TS1 looked like to TS2 graphics was amazing for the time. Sims 3 graphics should of been much better than they are, unlike TS2, the graphics weren't 'ground-breaking' or 'something we've never seen before'.…
Ah, familiar tastes. :-) AL has always been my favourite (closely followed by University and BV). The Ikea and H&M stuff packs are also amazing, I really wish EA had chosen a similar store instead of Diesel for the TS3 stuff pack.
I'm sorry, but anything is worth successor to Sims 3. Sims 3 was the sequel that wasn't worthy. Haven't you heard of different opinions? You seem really full of yourself to think that your opinion is above others, just because you don't see the potential in the game doesn't mean others don't. :?
I really hope they don't kill him off, I love the 'brother' bond he and Rick have formed and his friendship with Carol. I just hope they get rid off the weak link, Beth.
Wow, awesome! :D I love Daryl, he's such a fantastic character and your sim really does look similar to him. I'd love to see someone create my favourites, Carol and T-Dog (I don't have the demo).
Of course it's a marketing ploy. However, why are we even discussing it? We've gotten the best Sims game in the series + all the EP's and SP's for free. That's extremely generous. And just because it's from 10 years ago hardly matters. It beat Sims 3 by a mile, release date means nothing.
I think it's a hit or miss issue, as TS2 isn't compatible with Windows 8. When I re-bought the base game a while back, I looked online first to make sure it would work, and there was a lot of people it did work for but a lot of people who couldn't even start the game. Luckily, mine runs perfectly, and I hope you can find a…
I have the Error Trap, Overwatch, Woohooer, Relativity, Decensor and Story Progression mods. I installed them all last week (first time using mods!) and I'm loving them all so much, especially the notifications I get from SP.
Well Sims 2 wasn't made to be compatible with Windows 8, so that may be the problem. However, Sims 2 works on Windows 8 for me, and the load screens are probably around 20-30 seconds at the most.
I don't really mind either way, and I don't feel like it should be such a big deal to some people. I don't think it represents equality at all, EA have showed they support the LGBT community, I'd just rather we have a bunch of interesting pre-mades, and if one of those pre-mades is gay then I don't mind.
