Unlocking them means just that: you've unlocked them, you own them, so there is nothing left to "discover". So, asking about an adventure on a resort will do the same as it would if you had discovered them all by yourself. It still has the option to go/see person/place but you won't "discover" an Island at the end of it. I…
You find out what the customer wants/complains about via "Resort Management", then Resort Reviews. The clues will be there in their resort feedback. Resorts reach 5 star by having:- ~ a gym ~ a pool preferably with a pool bar and chlorinated ~ several buffet tables set to a high quality ~ good landscaping (and it doesn't…
Yes, it's do-able :-) My sim gets into fights with sharks even when not on that quest! I'm wondering if any particular trait might be associated with the frequency? My sim has the "Brave" trait.
My silly Sims have been getting their beach towels out and laying on the decking of the resort (Hobart's Hideaway) - plays havoc with the diners wanting to grab their food from the All Day Buffets
Have you checked your resort finances? Does your outgoings exceed your resort income? That is one of the reasons your resort can be closed. It can't be re-opened until you either a) get your expenses down or b) increase your income (or both!)
Well that's all your buildings sorted. Just wondering how your landscaping is? Have you put some of IP's shrubs in and around your resort? I get a big blue + sign when I do that and from the Resort Management Feedback it does make a difference. Having said that, I've only just started playing the resort and within a day…
When you have downloaded the limited addition extra's you will locate them by 1. Go to 'Buy' mode 2. Have the selection set on "Sort by Room" 3. Go to the study sets; in the right hand pane you will see the icon for IP and that is where you will find the items from Island Survival Pack
No, you can't catch the big sharks, but, you can "watch" them and sometimes that leads to a fight. Rarely, after a fight with a shark, you will find a rare sharks tooth in your backpack and it's worth $1k+ (but, I haven't sold mine, just in case it is needed for something later on  )
My diver "woohoo"'d a mermaid in a cave and got the "Mile low club" moodlet I didn't even consider cave woohoo's would be a part of the game, let alone being given a mile low club moodlet for it
Have you used the "Alchemy Station"? It is located in the Elixir store or you can purchase one from Buy Mode. The station provides 2 options: 1. Mix elixir 2. Research Alchemy. It is option 2 which is where you learn all the other recipes for alchemy :)
I have a science Sim (not a Vampire though so I don't know if that makes any difference) and no, it didn't take that long. Try closing the action and re-trying it?
Did you know you can get up to $5000 every 24hrs from the administration building "Apply for extra funds"? My test sim left University with over $50k by repeating this action every 24 sim hours. To get the max $5k you need a high academic performance meter.
