People have also reported the same problems and upon looking at their specs they didn't have enough memory so you might want to verify how much memory you have as well.

From what I have been reading alot of people are having this issue...I can fast forward at all the different speeds and it works fine but for others that isn't the case...your not alone...but from all that I have read its either a bug/glitch/problem in the game that people are awaiting a fix for.

Posts about uploading have been put in a few different places and no one has yet to reply with a fix of any kind for it...I havn't been able to upload at all myself...so I'm just playing the waiting game.

EVERY setting on mine is maxed out as well and I've got to say...It looks AMAZING. I'm impressed with the looks and how well the game runs I just wish it gave us more options...I expected it to be a bit more in depth with alot more options than we ended up getting as far as customization for our sims and their surroundings…

Not knowing what video card and sound card you have I can't tell you exactly where to go but you would go to the manufacturer site ie: ATI, Nvidia, etc... Also as the previous poster said if you don't know what video and such you have you might want to check at canyourunit to be sure before you spend any money.

Most games require you to have the latest drivers for your video and sound but that is no issue just download and install it takes just a few minutes...if you have the correct drivers and enough memory it should stop the problems your having provided your processor is indeed at LEAST the minimum.

Indeed your too low on memory..you can get memory pretty cheap at sites like www.newegg.com and www.directron.com...if you don't know anything about pcs then I would suggest emailing or calling a computer place sending them your specs and the Sims3 Requirements and let them tell you what you need.

It's no problem I understand your frustration...I have a laptop as well and it is painful to replace them since you can not replace pieces in them like a desktop...I paid 3k for mine when I bought it two years ago and it is now only used for school/work as it doesn't run any games anymore due to outdated graphics.

I agree...I've done it and it takes a good while to get to that point and there has been times the option was there but I did something else planning to do that option next and it was gone, I had to work at romantic a bit more to get the option to do it again...

Your laptop doesn't even meet the minimum for Vista you have a 1.7 you need a 2.4 and you need 1.5 Ram you have 1....unless you want to pay a hefty sum to upgrade your laptop then no....its not going to run.
