crazycatnerd.com/sim-challenges/2018/6/11/round-1-liberty-summer-and-travis-part-4 Part 4 of Round 1 of my rotational game has gone up! I've been playing pretty consistently too, so I have posts scheduled through Saturday, and I'm ready to begin playing round 2 tonight! I rolled a dark event for Round 2...not sure how…
@Karilan Your "Pine Post" banner intrigued me, so I clicked over to your site. I read your welcome letter for your site- and I'm so excited to read your stories! I always try to give me Sims a "balanced" life (making sure their needs are met, they are happy, have their hobbies, etc...), but I love your idea of smaller…
I'm back into SimLit again. It comes in waves. Life gets in the way all too often. :/ I started a new story over the weekend, and I'm super excited about it. I can't wait to go home and play tonight! My story is a rotational game with premade Sims. However, I started with one household (Liberty, Travis and Summer…
Emmett doesn't have many material aspirations. He's content with a small house and enough funds for the basic comforts. Emmett is fairly lazy and not at all ambitious. He loves dogs and his only aspiration in life us to find someone to love him. He takes life easy, doesn't like to get up early, and wants to spend as much…
I'm stuck. Life got in the way of gameplay. I really wanted to play the Sims, but I didn't have the energy for storytelling. Sadly, I can't seem to play the game without creating and sharing a story. Sigh. So, I've been avoiding the game. The work event causing the stress and exhaustion is over, though I am dealing with a…
Thanks for reading, commenting and voting! It was so nice to have a several poll responses so soon after posting especially when I hadn't updated in awhile! I have a spreadsheet with the self-care ideas, so none of them will be lost. I keep track of the total number of votes, not just the ones for each week. We'll get a…
I just stopped by to say I have finally updated the Bullet Journal/Self-Care story that I'm working on: Letter #3 (Dear Therapist) I apologize for having disappeared, I'm currently dealing with my own mental health issues.
I'm behind on reading this thread. It's been a busy week and right now I'm in the car on a road trip. But I just wanted to share Kaye's next letter: , "http://www.crazycatnerd.com/sim-challenges/2018/3/8/dear-therapist-letter-2"
Just posted my first Bullet Journal/Self-care challenge post!! Come be Kaye's therapist! crazycatnerd.com/sim-challenges/2018/3/4/dear-therapist-sims-bujo-self-care-challenge
My parents live on the Cape, so they'll be getting it way worse than me, but it's crazy windy down here in Virginia. Having major anxiety about being at work. I'm afraid I'm going to come home to a tree on my house. :# I was already having a fair bit of anxiety yesterday, now throw this on top.
Awesome!!! Yes, we would be! My purse is covered in Mickey shapes. Today's earrings are also a subtle Mickey design. I think Disney stuff has the most influence in my wardrobe, but I have some HP stuff, a few dungeon & dragons/gaming things, several Princess Bride shirts, a few Labyrinth shirts and a few other things here…
I'm good, too. I'd be great, but the weather is saying we are going to be super windy tomorrow (60mph gusts) during work hours when we won't be home, and my house is surrounded by trees. Anxiety and cognitive distortions: go! I'm also hungry, but I'm trying to hold off until 10am for my morning snack. I'm pumped about my…
Last night I finished my first, introductory, post to how my Bullet Journal/Self-Care challenge is going to play out. It's basically just the information I have already shared, but all in one place. Also, it has a picture of my Sim for this challenge: Kaye Edit: It'd be nice if I provided an actual link to the post,…
I would totally play this! Have you checked out Ryder Carol's video? That's the best place to start to get the basics down: bulletjournal.com/ He has one overview one, plus a few more that have a bit more detail. Bullet Journal is anything you want it to be- a planner, a calendar, a notebook, a sketchbook- but getting the…
Yes!!!! I would deem them "My New Best Friend". I often do stuff like that where I wear my interests on my sleeves so to speak (for example, my work lanyard is my favorite Disney World attraction), just to see if I get recognition from anyone.
So, at work, I have the opportunity a couple times a week to assign temporary names to three things. I like to use themes for naming. Today I went with "Plumbob" "Cowplant" and "Llama". I don't think anyone here will understand my theme. :D
