I never get the whole thing of "update all of your mods!" with every patch. What mods are people using that break the game so much? I use tons of mods and cc and other than the occasional UI glitches from an update I've only ever had game breaking issues from a mod with an update once and I've never had an issue with cc…
Personally don't care about kits in general but I'm really disappointed in the Desert one.. I was hoping for some nice boho desert furniture like the Sims Freeplay got in their "Desert Oasis" update not more modern stuff :s For reference:
Thanks! Just checked, I think it's a skin called "freckled nectar", she looks kind of different in my game now to how she looked then though so potentially she had another skin called "mango smoothie" on then instead, I'll link both :)…
I had the beta, seemed to be just Origin with a (much needed) cosmetic update. Only thing is I'm not sure that I trust buying through it since it's still in its early stages
/2 Populated the world! Here's some of the townies The Boudreaux Family My New Orleans makeover of the Spencer Kim Lewis family The College Friends household The Specters The Psychics And my personal favorite, the Creatures of the Bayou
In my current save I've been renovating Willow Creek to have more of a classic New Orleans Bayou look! I've used TOOL to fill the streets and surrounding areas and add a lot more Bayou fitting plants, trees and other decorations and I've filled the world with Paranormal builds as they're perfect for the New Orleans look
Don't know what the tweet says as the persons now suspended, but I suppose that boosts the likelihood of it being true as they probably wouldn't suspend someone if there was no reality in the "leak"
I would say Sims 1: Never played Sims 2 (limited playtime so can't fully judge) Pros: Whackiness, personality depth Cons: Closed world, no create a style, dated graphics, pretty similar to 3 but doesn't have the open world + create a style so I prefer 3 Sims 3 Pros: Open world, world landscapes are beautiful, in depth…
I have low expectations, we've already had two game packs and one expansion which is all we've got for big packs in recent years. Although maybe it's only been lower in recent years because of covid so we could get more again this year. Hope we'll finally see the Dine Out refresh but I doubt it
I feel like the skin tones was more of a headlines thing rather than anything else. They wanted the headlines of "The Sims cares so much about representation they added HUNDREDS of new skin tones!". Realistically they only needed about 10, and 3/4 of the skin tones they did add are just plain bad and really should've been…
I think 2019 was a pretty good year for the game, I enjoyed all the packs that came out that year - Strangerville, Island Living, Discover University and Realm of Magic. Also I think those packs all worked pretty well on release, I don't remember any major bugs or major negatives with the game at the time
Sims 3 Werewolves are my favorite version of werewolves appearance wise, I much prefer the feral human look over the walking animal look they have in the other games. Never had any issue with how they look + you can easily customise them in CAS to make them look a lot better than how they spawn
I can never play with multiple adult sims at once in this game, how do people manage it! I always find myself constantly panning back to my other sims to make sure they're doing something or else I end up neglecting one sim completely :D
Depends on gameplay for me, 90% of the time I'll play ageing off as I don't like my sims getting older but when my sim has a kid I'll play on long so the kid can have proper birthdays and age up rather than being stuck a baby forever
I think? it's because they just used the base game palm trees. Made in 2009 and you can tell :D I've had times where I've gone through and replaced all the palm trees with the Sunlit Tides ones as they're so much nicer
Sims 3 100%, tried Sims 2 once as well but for me it felt like a more basic version of 3 as I don't really care for all of the gameplay systems everyone obsesses over with 2 so I never really saw any benefit to playing it over 3. 4 I played with a lot at one point but I'm bored of it at the moment and I don't see myself…
Island Living was the pack that got me to finally go from playing Sims 3 to Sims 4 after 5 years, the world is stunning, love the items/Polynesian style and I enjoyed playing in it a lot as it's the most "open-world" feeling out of all the Sims 4 worlds (that we'd had at that point). I'd love to go back and experience that…
