  • Infants also get Firsts milestones for* First Visit to a Family Member * First Visit to the Park * First Vacation There's also a different name for the Born milestone depending on how the baby got into the household: Adopted, Born at Hospital, Born at Home. I haven't tried the science baby yet so I don't know if they'll…
  • Yes, I've had this happen to one of my infants when I decided to purchase a second high chair for the dining room.
  • Getting a BFF and getting to the top of an after school activity (scouts from parenthood or drama club from get famous) is also a child milestone.
  • I'm not fond os San Sequoia so I didn't move any of my played households over there. In total, I have played with 4 different households since Growing Together came up and none of them have been visited by Kyle yet. Still, I don't know if that's always the case or it's just a matter of time until Kyle decides to drop by. I…
  • Yup, looks promising, particularly for storytelling and world building but seems quite unfinished. I hope they polish it before early release and the final official release. They also have early release on Steam if you don't mind waiting until September 12.
  • Yes, I've had problems with getting the "Max out movement skill" on two different toddlers, I had to cheat the skill level down and then up again to receive the milestone.
  • First visit to a family member is also an infant first milestone.
  • Once you do enough tummy time to get an infant to lift head, roll over to back and roll over to tummy they can try tummy time on their own and earn the rest of gross motor milestones on their own. Once an infant has learnt to reach and grab on the play mat and can creep, they can earn the rest of their fine motor on their…
  • After watching some early access videos I couldn't be more convinced that the world is pretty bad. It looks good but it's empty. The neighborhoods are huge, the lots are too far apart from each other and the activities (cinema, trail and splash pads), the only fishing areas are on the lakes (seems weird for a waterfront…
  • Getting smacked by Agnes Crumplebottom is a new milestone?! LOL! I want my sims to get that one.
  • I'm excited to learn what new things have been added to existing packs with this update. Specially since we know that, at least, we'll have new knittables for infants.
  • I saw somewhere that CC doors will absolutely break as the new patch adds babyproofing to locks. I guess some CC CAS will also break with the new tooth fairy mechanic in Growing Together and maybe some skin colours and details may break with the added stork bites.
  • Yes, it's true. Sim guru Doi said in the Livestream that with the Growing together EP Sims could get up to 6 traits. The extra traits won't be available from CAS but will be rewarded once a Sim reaches certain milestones (examples were: getting perfectionist from maxing a skill or getting ambitious for getting promoted).
  • Slumber party event rewards a toddler sleepbag https://twitter.com/SimGuruMorgan/status/1632436638965182464?t=6-ao2xbl3H1119BllItmEg&s=19 Baby shower event rewards a new crib https://twitter.com/SimGuruMorgan/status/1632434314796474368?t=guv4I47zBd8UulPl1irjAg&s=19
  • Yes to swimmable water. No to control visiting sims but we'll be able to direct them to tend to do certain things like relax while they're visiting or help around while they're visiting.
  • For what I've seen in the livestream, this is going to be one of, if not the, best BG updates since toddlers. Plenty of cribs that mesh seamlessly with every toddler bed. Birthmarks, stretch marks, C-section scars, IVF/Surrogacy/donor babies, bottle/breastfeeding, a breath of new interactions. I preordered Growing together…
  • Stream was great andI absolutely love that the Sims/Maxis team seems to have gone above and beyond to ensure cross-pack compatibility. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the window dressing. San Sequoia could have easily been way smaller for the amount of playable lots but we're, once again graced with plenty of duplicates…
  • I'm disappointed in all the window dressing, all those cute family homes that populate the majority of San Sequoia take valuable resources on my PC that could have been better employed. In a single glance we can tell the world is small but when looking for: the alligator, the Sequoia stumps, other playable lots we have to…
  • Honestly, for legacy and storytelling simmers at least, this feels like the new must buy pack. I'm glad I preordered. Now I'll just have to go back to a former version of my Growing together save file because the one I currently have in wait won't make the cut.
  • I hope they also added a new seasonal/festivities sub-menu under friendly so that we won't spend so much time browsing to complete new year, harvest day, etc.
  • Some will, others will stay. We'll also have the option to apply them to older sims.
  • Maybe we'll see a comeback of Stuff packs, it'd be weird if we didn't get something like Toddler Stuff, Kids Room of MFP but for infants.
  • Hol' up! There's a SF area called prison (presidio in Spanish)?

  • I have been forced to switch to the new app. I hate it. I've already pre-paid for GT on Origin Store but, once it releases I'll do my best to try and translate all of the content I've already purchased (every single pack and plenty of BB kits) to Steam Store.
  • I wish that we got an update on a lot of stuff. The game has been running for so long that whatever BG and Growing Together brings in for infants won't be able to bridge the gap with all the other EPs, GPs and SPs that we already have. Will we be unable to knit infant onesies if we own Nifty Knitting despite the fact that…
  • Honestly, I didn't know there were items that were exclusive for PC players. I think that's dishonest. Whenever a triple A game developer like EA releases a game (nowadays) there's always that: pre order freebies, platinum edition, exclusive subscription edition, Steam/GameStop/PlayStation/XBox/Whatever the developer's…
  • We have an official livestream next Friday, March 3rd, 2023 at 11:00am Pacific.
  • - Sleeping bags: • Can sims place them in their inventories? • Are there toddler sized sleeping bags? • Are there infant sized sleeping bags or, at least, travel cribs that sims can put in their inventories? • Do they work well with the outdoorsy lifestyle and survivalist trait? - The bridge: • Does it have a name? What's…
