Ok you need to follow the install instructions inside the zip and then install and make sure your .cfg from the zip is not in the mods folder but in the main Sims 3 directory. The Launcher has nothing to do with this as its irrelevant since you are installing yourself and not with a Simspack and it will replace default…

Ok so I got the patch installed after try number 2 but now the game will not install any sim packs from anywhere. Not from the exchange or any of the other sites . So my advice is...if it's only a little broke ...wait for the next patch this one seems to be adding issues not taking them away.

Gardening is soo much fun ! My sim is maxed out on the skill and she can now grow all kinds of crazy things like Eggplants and Cheese Plants and the elusive Alpha Plant...too fun ! Don't forget to fertalize and talk to your plants ..it makes all the difference ! :D

Thanks for the info ! I like the game and I hope it progresses with expansions and that the custom content will be available for Sims 3 as in the previous releases . The old sims 2 cheat : Ctrl Shift C It works but you need to be on a lot with your sim for it to ! I know some people have had trouble but this does work for me. Hoping that helps !

I am not finding this option either ...and I must say I am becoming increasingly annoyed with the many features from TS2 that did not make the jump into TS3.

I miss my hot tubs and I just ran across the no diving board for the pool and was dissapointed. I did not know about the lack of customization downtown but if this is so then I am even more dissapointed. Think about how much fun it was to make your own community lots and download awesome ones made by others...it is A shame…

While I like the game I too must agree that this has not lived up to the hype that has been surrounding this release for months. The community lots are not playable per say as you can not see and control your sims inside any of the buildings , The interactions with the sims seem very much the same and without the 1st clip…
