Obviously, if there was someone on staff with the time to adequately address AnswersHQ threads, there would be someone doing just that. I'm guessing for around $70k per year (100k by the time you factor in benefits) EA could find someone competent and efficient who is as concerned and passionate about quality communication…
Before your communication about the bug process in July, there was ZERO communication from EA whether a thread was ever even noticed. ZERO. In fact, those three threads you link have a noticable percentage of the commentary about nothing but the lack of communication and apparent lack of care on EA's part about the bugs at…
And... I see the period of attempted communication was short-lived. Can't even pay attention to, nor reply to your own discussion thread... Still aren't addressing new bug threads. Both could be soooo easy... But can't be bothered. You've apparently retreated to EA's standard misguided notion that the best communication is…
Thank you for all your threads of late on this topic!!! You've no idea how appreciated they are to this one simmer! This quote is from a different thread, but here seems to be where comments are wanted as that other thread is closed. You wrote: "The staff are active in these boards, however as mentioned above, there is…
OP, I think the climbing problems you have are related to Snowy Escape bugs they aren't fixing, not a club bug. My. Kimorabi (sp?) is broken in soooooo many ways. How do clubs work for other activities in other worlds?
Just kills me that basically "a dude in his bedroom" has apparently made such a huge variety of technology leaps to some of this stuff before a team was even started to be built... Meanwhile a full team of trained professionals for a cash-rich, decades old, established game developer can't sort out Sims getting to use all…
I've read that the characters reactions to objects live in-game is procedurally based so they don't have to animate all the interactions, and things won't have to "line up" to be useful by characters. Because you can customize all the objects sizes, heights, etc, they are going this route. We'll see how well it gets pulled…
I wish someone like Hello Games would jump into simming... The two companies handle bugs so different, it's like comparing apples to oranges instead of comparing two software companies.
EA relies on modders to fix bugs. Most bugs they just ignore and keep plowing ahead. Have no problems with their release schedule, just problems with release quality; and the required new updates creating yet more bugs for them to ignore and rely on modders to sort out. EA not fixing their own bugs would be the gist of…
I hate the cartoony look of TS4 sims, and Paralives isn't exactly improving things from the looks of it.... The customization of the actual items you build with in Paralives though. 😮😀 But with how EA just ignores bugs and let's the modding community sort things out, I'm ready to give any one else my money for this style…
This thread makes me happy. Nectar making and searching for amazing recipes while at the same time giving them access to four moodlets... even if it didn't turn out amazing... Good times. I might have to track down my little note book where I kept track and see if I have any recipes to add.
I want a TS5 only because I think TS4 dropped the ball so bad. I miss the basically unlimited creativity of design that was base game TS3, and how sharing with that community actually felt like sharing and community. I hope they can revive and improve that with TS5, but I have more confidence it will be the Paralives folks…
Another patch come and gone without this being addressed... Yet still selling the pack full price to new gamers with a key mechanic from the pack broken.
I would like to see bugs fixed in a timely manner before I see anything new in the game. Or at least decent communication from the EA Sims bug team about what they're working on, why they're ignoring some bugs but prioritizing others, etc... But right now, it just seems like, "We're looking into it, wink, wink, nudge,…
Right... Teams are going track it... Right... Haven't played in about a year. Noticed some bugs and figured they were from the latest patch yesterday. "I'll do my bit and go report this," I say to myself. The bugs I was going to report have been going on for six months now. Sure, there's teams tracking it... Right... The…

I want to get mine done, but with this week's work schedule and my team being broadcast on national TV today, it's going to be a push... We'll see. Won't be able to dither around, wasting time in CASt so much this time!!
@suzses I used to have save towns just for building, not playing. So I move a talented sim in from the library to do the crafting types of things. Then when I move them out, they just go to the clipboard. Thanks for your compliment on the martial arts academy. That was one of my all-around favorite sims creations as there…
My understandings on these subjects from back when... Paintings. If your sim painted them from the "paint" interaction, yes. This way the game has that image already available for use in everyone's game. If your sim painted them from "paint still-life" or "paint portrait" then no. Photographs. Yes, but if you put them in…
I am not on the forums much anymore but this title caught my eye. Here is link to a TS3 forum thread for a blast-from-the-past park I did from a while ago. forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/193147/spongeling-park-fidlertens-park-challenge-entry-by-meestormark

Hey everyone!! Thanks for the welcomes. I have been tempted to do a couple of the challenges over the last four months or so, but never pulled the trigger. This time, seeing Linday around (and having a cool challenge) sent me over the edge. Will have my entry coming here in mere minutes.
Consignment shop arbitrage between a normal consignment shop and an alchemy consignment shop is usually how most fresh start games get their initial sizeable stake. Using the science skill to clone supernovium and/or tiberium. Sell at the alchemy shop for even more. Once fame kicks in (specially at 5 stars) using the…
