I preordered it so I got it the day it came out. Had to stop playing sometime after GTW came out since my potato computer made the game lag too much so I could only play if I visited my aunts house. Got a new laptop in October & have played regularly ever since. Been playing catch-up with all the packs & thanks to the…
If I'm struggling to make my sims be romantic, I'll usually boost up their friendship up first & make sure they're friends. Then I'll start with the easier romantic interactions - flirt & compliment appearance. Then, if offer rose comes up do that as it should make them flirty, then everything else is easier.
I have all the expansions and game packs, and I'm gradually collecting stuff packs whenever there's a sale. Recently there's been one on sale per week so I've been buying those if I don't have them already. Don't know if I'll get My First Pet Stuff. Probably not though.
I saw this sim in my game today and I assumed she was a townie because of how awful her outfit looks. Weird coincidence but I also planted a bug on her to see if you could overhear infected sims speaking creepy stuff.
Same. I love seeing all the different genetic combinations. My only issue is, the more sims I'm playing, the more likely it is that I'm going to lose interest so I always have to fight myself so I don't go overboard.
Same. Would definitely recommend this one. Looks a lot better than the in game skin, but still matches the games aesthetic. (I'm on mobile so I don't have any examples, but the sim in my profile pic uses that skinblend)
I've started a new save. I've already made the sims I'm going to use, although I'm going to give them new hair/outfits when I install the pack. Got my military sim and my conspiracy theorist-type sim. I also started building the trailer park they're going to live on. One of them has an underground bunker which will have…
If teens were shorter in the beginning, or if they fixed them within the first year or so I'd say yes. We're over 4 years into TS4 now and starting CC from scratch with teens isn't worth the effort. The lack of variety compared to the other age groups would drive me nuts.
Yeah, the video station is a great way to earn a lot of money. Make one video a day and you're pretty much set for life. My sim was making 8k+ a day. A lot better than what you earn at the top of the acting career (which is kinda nuts considering top actors irl earn crazy money per movie).
I prefer small families so I can focus on individual sims more. If the house gets too crowded I usually get overwhelmed and lose interest. I also have a huge love for sim genetics though, and it takes every ounce of power not to have a million babies just so I can see what they'd look like.
My favourite sim is my Not So Berry Founder, Winter. She enjoys using the freeze ray on Thorne Bailey when he tries to hog all the attention (which is always). (v v this is one of my favourite pictures) This is her and Akira at their wedding: And then they made a tiny dude:
MCCC is one of the only big mods that I have. The rest are to fix annoying things like simulation lag, sims taking too long to eat, sims autonomously going straight for the computer, etc. Finding fixes for those things was like a breath of fresh air - I'd feel so frustrated having to go back to playing without mods.
My gen 1 is dying off. My founders spouse died a few days ago, and I just got the notification that her time is almost up too. Usually I just let it happen, but I think I'm going to give her a potion of youth. I started feeling regrets that I didn't use all of the science career stuff to its fullest potential, and I don't…
Haven't played TS3 since 2016, this is a picture of my witch sim. Really need to get round to playing it again now that I have a computer that can actually handle it. Before, I had to wait til I visited my family (a twice a year thing) so I could use their computer.
I love playing legacies (although I've never made it through 10 generations before) and challenges that make you explore certain parts of the game you might not normally do. Currently playing the Not So Berry challenge. I want to try an ISBI at some point because controlling too many sims stresses me out sometimes & I…
Usually when I think about things I want in the Sims it's usually the basics we're missing or supernatural stuff that comes to mind, but I realized today that I really want servos.
I have a main save (my not so berry challenge) which I play 90% of the time atm, then I have my original save which I haven't played a lot recently but like to pop in occasionally, my Get Famous save (on the back burner a lil) and my vampire save.
Lifesimmer's LP's are the best. I'm pretty sad she doesn't really post anymore, because I would've loved to see her make full LP's of all the packs so far. Sometimes I'll shove one of her LP's on that I've already seen if I need a bit of background noise.
