For cottage living, do the sims mourn when chickens, cows and llama's die? So far for me, they react to the grim reaper but don't get a sad moodlet for the animals. The only time my sim did was when she traded her elder chicken -near death- in for some treats. I do have mods and was wondering.

I play through each life stage even the cradle rockers, I do try to keep a aging sync with the rest of the sim world. If I feel a life stage is not complete, I turn off aging for everyone and take my time. Heh my main save have been children for four in year life years though I don't play so slow normally.
