@Cinebar I agree totally with this, but for people like me who can't necessarily afford the latest versions, a game that's been 'saved' multiple times may be the only option. If they manage to make a Sims 5 that's better and affordable, then fair enough. But I can't honestly see that happening. There's only so much you can…
@Elisabetta Thanks for your comment! Yeah I understand why you’d say that about Jesminder, although I like that family, their sweet innocence does get on my nerves a little - but in contrast Raj Rasoya is honestly one of the worst pre-made characters I’ve ever seen. We all have our preferences, but having him and his…
@fallenangel66 @PinkHairGuitar @citysimmer @happyopi @EdieAppleby @luimistelija @OEII1001 Thank you all for your replies! All your gameplays sound awesome. My favourite personally is Diego Lobo - great fun to play and to mess around with from other Sims points of view. I like the Bheedas too, with their stereotypical young…
I’m glad they added toddlers in again as it was really irritating when a baby went straight to a child. Honestly though, I find it so difficult to play families with children and I just get so tired of it. It restricts a lot of what you can do with adults, and though I have nothing against kids in real life, I like the…
I actually only have Vampires. It was a choice between that and Parenthood, but for me, I don’t really like the traditional get-married-have-children cycle so I thought it would probably be wasted on my style of play. However, I’ve always been fascinated by vampires (started by people making fun of my teeth) and I don’t…
Wow that’s definitely one of the most creative (and slightly weird) things I’ve seen in a house! I suppose it’s not particularly unusual but I have had lot spaces before that are particularly engineered to make... disposing of... sims as easy as possible. You know the sort of thing, pool with fence too close, tiny room…
I’m not sure I want to pay for more worlds. Not just because of space, but because I’m perfectly satisfied with the space I already have. Also it seems a little off to add a bunch of new worlds and act like they’re going to be as big as Willow Creek etc and then they turn out to have four lots. The only new world I have…
Eh, I don’t want them to bring out a Sims 5, because of many of the reasons above, and also because I’ve paid so much money for the Sims 4 and expansions and I just couldn’t afford a bigger and better version. It’s like iPhones, they get more expensive as they’re released, and that means the newer they are, the less likely…
I’d bring back the zodiac signs from the Sims 2 - it wouldn’t have to be identical, but it would be cool to be able to have some effect on traits and skill-building. It’s just a fun thing I think was awesome before.
I played Vampires for the first time, and lost an hour of gameplay because my computer died. (RIP Elle Blanton’s Master Vampire aspiration). That kinda sapped my motivation to play that household, so I made a new one. Went to the city and married Diego Lobo within about twenty minutes, turned him, and now the Lobo family…
A sim died in the swimming pool on my lot and my household had about six cats. All the cats crowded around to watch the Sim die and somehow the game glitched so the Grim Reaper couldn’t take their soul. It was quite entertaining watching him try to step round a crowd of cats and fail repeatedly. It took a while for me to…
Maybe it’s not different but I don’t usually stick with Sims in the long term. I’ve had probably hundreds of different save files over the years, and I prefer to play a household for a few days in real life (almost to direct them) and then make a new one. There’s no particular reason, I think I just get bored quickly and…
It’s never even crossed my mind to bring faith or religion into the Sims. I think it’s a neat idea, but I suppose I often feel restricted by religion in real life so I wouldn’t want to include it in game.
This is really nice! I like to do interiors too and the way you’ve matched everything but added bursts of colour is similar to how I do it - looks great! :)
I usually play female Sims - it’s like what others have said, I feel I can understand them better and therefore build their story in a more convincing way. That being said there are a few choice male Sims that I love to play - it’s pretty subjective I suppose.
Hello. I'm Mak and I've played The Sims since The Sims 2. My favourite game is TS4, although I admit there are many features from older games I wish were still included. I'm mainly here to find out what to do when my game glitches, but I've seen so much helpful info here I'd like to be a part of it. :)
