  • I have an Occult Short Lifespan Legacy challenge going on where each generation heir (occult) has to have the next heir baby with another occult of another type etc, and the second generation was a werewolf heir romancing Caleb Vatore. I have autonomy on, but had no overwhelming issues at all. Later on as Caleb moved in…
  • Graduation is triggered either when you accept the early graduation pop-up, or talk to teacher to graduate early, OR when your sim ages up to young adult. If you play with aging off and don't use early graduation, the sim will be in high school forever.
  • Brought the toddler to Greg's hut to meet her dad. Adalmina -- the toddler -- had immediate automatic toddler dialogue options with him, and almost half bar of friendship. No need to Attempt to Communicate, just go on right ahead and Babble and Hug. I didn't manage to make Greg 'Play' though, or Snuggle, but Hug worked…
  • Maybe. I was focused on letting them sleep through the night so they got the moon dream moodlet (no difference in question options with the moodlet or without), will try to remember to check when they have another toddler, the first one is child by now. The child can ask questions about the moon, so far "Is Moon a Banana?"…
  • My toddler has now maxed both Communication and Thinking, and I haven't found any questions the toddler might be able to ask. She will age up to child soon, so will test that out a bit, but seems Iron Seagull already confirmed children can do that, yah. However, the toddler can dream moon dreams, different per stage. For…
  • I found "Say Goodnight to the Moon" interaction under Toddler Care. So control the caretaker and click on the toddler, then Toddler Care, and it should be there. I've tried it only once so far and it either interrupted, or it involves the toddler asking for a book reading, not sure yet of the results. Will keep doing that…
  • Different things make different werewolves gain fury. When you begin and don't yet have any abilities to lower fury or control the rampage, you need to pay attention to what makes your werewolf gain fury. You can see this from the red pictures on the top of the werewolf's Needs panel. On top of the panel is the globe that…
  • The first time I didn't yet realize this, but soon enough I started to understand that you can still control the rampaging werewolf, but only about wolf things. They won't understand anything human-like, or interactive objects. You can still click on ground and tell them where to go, and if you have Scavenger ability, you…
  • BUNNIES! BUNNIES BUNNIES BUNNIES! I never thought I'd see bunnies in Sims 4 beyond possibly cage-interactive-object. The amount of happiness, yegads. 'n squees. Especially the squees! Everything else looks amazing, too, but ...yeah, for me it's the bunnies.
  • Oh good! Then it either doesn't work as intended right now but should be fixed soon, or I somehow missed the green text signs from it. I also did try to stare at their values window and didn't see the value rising, but very good to hear that it's intended to do that, so hopefully fixed soon.
  • I agree that the speed that the house gets dirty is too fast. As for dust bunnies, I love them! 'n yes, it's annoying that in big families you have to buy gazillion vacuum cleaners or micro-manage. My main actual complaint is that as far as I can see, teens and children don't get any Responsibility from using vacuum…
  • I was also confused for quite some time, 'cause the hoverover tooltip on the greyed out 'Befriend' kept talking about how you can have only one dust bunny friend per floor, and my sims hadn't befriended any, and one of them had been on very high happiness for a long time. Regardless, eventually Befriend option became…
  • As said above: the game is Americanized, because it is developed in the USA. They clearly try to bring in flavors and parts of other cultures when they can, but there's gazillion cultures to choose from, and as much as it might infuriate us Europeans (I'm from Finland, myself. Hey, at least there's a sauna in the game!)…
  • It would be impossible for 'EA Game Changers' to 'speak for us'. If we assume that by 'us' you mean 'everyone who plays sims games', that is such a varied group of people and preferences that no matter what a game changer would say, there'd be a huge amount of simmers not agreeing with them. They are -- as pointed out --…
  • Really looking forward to seeing how the new public places and voting will turn out! I also like the new energy sources and expect them to complete the off-the-grid life beautifully. The world before changes will be an amazing rags-to-riches starter, although now I'm aiming at modern Nordic in my head already, some of the…
  • I have a chef couple who recently purchased and built a restaurant from scratch. There's a separate living area in the basement, so they could take turns in greeting customers, tending to their needs and other activities. They have a toddler, who of course has her own toddler room downstairs. Yet the moment they go to the…
  • It's definitely not intended, so must be a bug. There's a bug report on it here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-INPUT-DU-Paying-bills-in-dorms/td-p/8437976 If you've had to pay bills while living in the dorms, that's the spot to go to and comment about it, might help them solving it.
  • I had the same thing happening at Drake Hall, got 3000 in bills. Was a bit of a surprise. I'm playing siblings in that dorm, so the household has two sims, and both of them have a part time job in addition to full class schedule. The electricity went off before they got part time job promotions and could pay the bills with…
  • I love that we have finally magic and spellcasters. I personally love the Art Nouveau style, so the build mode is all a plus for me, and I like what they did in CAS as well. I would have wanted Alchemy to be a skill, and not tied to being a spellcaster, I have several mortals and even vampires who would love to practice…
  • Voted for Medieval, but really meant 'any historical era of interest'. I'd love a time traveling pack with different eras being like holiday worlds of limited stay time, but considering the limitations of how much stuff can be put into a pack, it probably would have only one era, and therefore limited, unless they'd use…
  • Amazing builds all around! I've been mostly playing an off-the-grid family, started from scratch, so their lot is far from ready since I update it as they earn more money. Here's a WiP picture: The corner shack is bathroom, the shacks next to it separate bedroom areas for parents and children, and the extra shack is…
  • Absolutely yes. That looks like a lot of fun! I didn't play the similar pack back in Sims 2 so even the concept is new to me, and I trust they've done detailed job with it, just like the vampires are much more detailed than in the previous packs.
  • And then it's time for the very last one of the original set, windows! I'll be switching the household after this, my stylist is at the top of her career and I was staying with her only for the photography. Will see if the next sims will tackle the rest of the challenge, but at least the original set is completed!
  • Aliens can be a lot of fun, although most of them end up being just townies or interesting neighbors in my game. I think the most played ones in my game are always space changelings, aka results of abduction. This corner of the Oasis Springs is mostly alien builds (not all, of course), so figured I'd just take a quick grab…
  • Next up, architecture! Followed by the subject of your choice, which in this particular case is the San Myshuno at night, viewed from the Stargazer Lounge: The stylist sim really enjoyed taking San Myshuno pictures, I'm sure if I was doing the challenge with some other sim, I'd be taking closeups of flowers and Nordic…
  • @QueenofMyshuno - Thank you! The green one is actually a table in my Crazy Cat Lady Cafe: Speaking of, I took some of the food pictures there, too: The two lower ones are taken in there, caught Penny having a coffee and her expression felt very fitting, 'n the fierce dinosaur-doggie giving puppy-eyes over the cake that is…
  • @QueenofMyshuno - the signs are awesome, go well together and the use of filters turns them all scary! Here's patterns! I am so amused by the garbage can close-up that had to include it even when it's darker and more sober than the colourful ones.
  • @Bloosmoo - join us, join us! Here's animals, mostly wild, but had to include a pet. On a vet visit, even, poor thing. The jumping koi was a really lucky timing coincidence, I was actually eyeing the pattern that the tree shadows were casting on the pond, but then when I was eyeing the view with camera, there it was, the…
  • Welcome to the photographing fun, @elanorbreton! It'll change how you look at things in the game, which adds even more fun to it. @Karababy52 - love the Vlad collection, that's fantastic! Also loving the path to the hermit in the plants, always inspiring to capture the more secret parts of the game. My next collection…
  • @QueenofMyshuno those are actually woohoo bush flowers, if you look at it closely. @rosemow the tree is actually the one you can grow from the magic beans! Although I did visit Sylvan Glade, as the next collection shows. Collection of Light! Lighthouse in Brindleton Bay, Sunset in San Myshuno, Bonfire, Fairy Light in…
