I agree with those saying that it would make things laggy. On one hand, I would love to decorate the buildings, but it would take forever and I would run out of inspiration. :p
It might sound really simple and kind of dumb, but I redecorate/remodel stuff. Try redecorating the gym, museum, thrift store, or a venue if you haven't already. Also, try redecorating your Sims' house. Sometimes, I think I'm getting bored with the Sims, but I'm really just tired of looking at their house, lol. XD
Back when I played TS2, I would download CC Victorian clothing and dress up a family of three or four. I would then proceed to put them in a room with no doors or windows. The result? Awesome ghosts complete with period clothing. :)
While I had a lot of fun with TS2 (especially with OFB), I must agree that TS3 is far superior. I love the seamless neighborhood and the way multiple households age at once. But what really sold it for the was the ability to customize the patterns and colors on everything. But seriously, there are a few things I…
Lol, this thread is great! :) Whenever I get into a little argument with someone, I always imagine one or two red minus signs hovering above our heads. XD I've also had instances where I see a complete stranger who looks eerily like a sim I've made. In fact, my dad fussed at me once for pointing to an old lady in line at…
Ditto. For the past several days, the entire first page of the LN forum section has been nothing but "zomg my clubz r empty!!!!!" and "Sign this petition!"
Does anyone else miss OFB? :/ I do. I miss stocking the shelves with all sorts of random stuff. And now, it would be even cooler, with the endless ways to edit colors and patterns. :) I think an OFB-like EP would go with pets/seasons very well. Shops could be stocked with seasonal items such as holiday items and…
Both of my first TS3 Sims were family-oriented, so they wanted a huge family (as one could predict). They already had a girl, so I decided to try for a boy or two. I got both of the parents the fertility treatment, and made the mom listen to the kids' station and watch the kids' channel when she was preggers. I also made…
While I can understand players getting frustrated, I think it's pretty low and ungrateful to accuse EA of "not trying." Patches take time to make. The least simmers can do is be patient. Afterall, the developers, programmers, and gurus have to read bug reports, try to figure out what's causing said problems, and answer…
Does this mean there will be shark attacks!? XD Seriously, seasons would be GREAT. I almost wonder if we'll get a "nature" EP, combining seasons and pets.
@KB_Dancer_Girl: Unfortunately, anything with a building and a plane tends to evoke memories and images of 9/11. Personally, I might not have seen the same thing, but you're not wrong for thinking of that. If you find this offensive, I would suggest moving the plane and building away from each other, or delete them both. I…
I've been a rabid Sims fans for about nine years, and even I can get a little burnt out on it after a while. It's not necessarily boredom. Even the most exciting things can get a little old after a bit. :) I do think that it can get a little repetitive. That's when I spice things up by redecorating houses/buildings or…
I don't know if anyone's said this already, but couldn't EA possibly land in a legal scuffle with Stephanie Meyer if the LN vampires had sparkles? I would think that EA would have to get permission to market such an obviously "Twilight" trait. :/ I've never been a huge fan of vampires (except for Bela Lugosi's portrayal of…
