  • Farming. Or, Country Living. My only fear is that they would lack depth and be poorly implemented, but this is what I really want to see. Generations. This would be great, if they really put effort into giving us in-depth items and gameplay for children, teens and elders, not merely YA and A. It's beyond time they were…
  • I voted that I would still buy it, (though possibly not right away) if there is the option to be offline and if both are treated the same. However I have a feeling that would not be the case. I life it usually becomes that one thing takes dominance over the other. I recognise that there are many people who would love to be…
  • I think it may be something Teen related. (I think I may have posted something along earlier in this thread, if so, sorry for repeating myself.) When they did the recent survey the only group they excluded were teens, so I think they have something in the works for them. I wonder could it either be sports, music or fashion…
  • I have absolutely no desire to play The Sims as an online game. I don’t want other people playing with my sims, I don’t want them altering my builds, beside what they do with the few I’ve posted on the gallery if they put them in their own game. Sorry, in this instance, my game, my world. While it may well be lovely to be…
  • I think it could be, but as this new EP shows, they take quite a while from survey to implementation. So I think any winter sports / mountain pack could be some time yet. Having said that, prior to City Living, the city in the background of towns began getting closer, and the mountains seem to be very close in the new town.
  • I think the GP could be something to do with Teens. As has been said, they were left out of all the options in the recent survey. Of course, that could well have been an oversight, but it did get me thinking. It's time they had something special.
  • I could well be wrong, but sadly, I don't think we will. I would be very happy to be wrong, though
  • I wonder how many lots there will be? Just those three or four in the trailer? I am wary with Del Sol Valley being so small that there may be a lot of shells placed beside liveable houses that we cannot access, especially as the town itself is dynamic. Or, do we build the new buildings rather than the game generate them as…
  • Well, that is good news. I quite like all the rusted and used looking items, they will make building and decorating more interesting. And ladders have been needed for so long, they really should have been patched in ages ago and definitely with Tiny Living, but better late, as they say. However, I have a feeling that like…
  • I don't expect anything. I think this is the safest way to be with Maxis. If there is something of significance it is a nice bonus, but I don't think there is any point counting on it. That has led to too much disappointment in the past.
  • I'm sorry, other than the gallery, I really do not want an online aspect to the game. I know they have this in their mobile games but I do not want other people logging into my game, interacting with my sims, creating new relationships, breaking existing ones. We would also perhaps be subject to potential griefing from…
  • I never revisit holiday worlds, and I usually play on Long so my sims have plenty of time. Perhaps I need to learn to incorporate a holiday into their lives. That said, I rarely revisit other towns either, my sims tend to stay put.
  • The OP's and contributors' comments on this thread make me really want a Generations EP. I agree, it doesn't need a new world, there are already loads to choose from. Use the time and money that would have gone in to making it to make a truly deep pack with lots of gameplay for all ages. I can see it selling like hotcakes.
  • Perhaps they are going to do something with Marvel, as they already have with Disney, and have superhero costumes in the game. I'm sure people could tell me all sorts of wonderful things being able to be a superhero would bring to the game, I'm just not seeing it right now. I wait to be enlightened though. The more there…
  • I noticed that they seem to have made a Sim of Steve Jobs to sit in front of a desk on the main menu since the November patch with info. He couldn't be the "one more thing" on his own, could he? He is the origin of the quotation.
  • If there is to be a farming pack in the future I would expect it to come with a world, it would be very odd if it didn't.
  • I won't be playing TS5 if it is multi-player. I have no desire for other people to interfere with my Sims or my buildings. Just, no.
  • It wouldn't surprise me in the least if cars weren't added to the game - in the last ever patch.
  • I think it is going to come down to a decision between Arts and Crafts and the scientific one, due to the ordinary sized microscope and telescope offered. That might be no bad thing as I think there is enough scope for Hobbies to be a GP which could incorporate much more of the Arts and Crafts options. Time will tell. And…
  • I don't think there will be a further holiday update, I think the clothes for the toddlers and children were it. I agree about the hot chocolate, I was so disappointed that the one that came with Outdoor Retreat was decorative only.
  • I think there is a decent chance we could well get a Futuristic EP, and soon. Last year, before leaving the TS4 team, Sim Guru Grant spoke about a futuristic pack. Granted (ha) it was after people had been asking for a pack set in the past and he wanted to know what era as we already have some stuff from different eras and…
  • I wanted a farming / country living pack as I think there is huge potential for deep gameplay within it. There are so many options that could be chosen to provide activities for all members of the family. I believe it also has the potential like Parenthood and Seasons to become integral to the game in a way that you can…
  • Perhaps they will come in a building pack. Lots of people have said they would like a pack dedicated to more build/buy options, an architect career would certainly fit within that and they have added careers to stuff packs before.
  • Accessibility could mean anything from ramps instead/ as well as stairs in the game, to features for the player to utitilise, e.g., the game speaking to someone with vision issues.
  • I have a feeling the world is going to be small, at least the useable bits. From the video lots of the buildings look like shells. The speaks of rabbit holes to me. I know they have said we can accompany our sims to class, so there must be somewhere for that, but I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a small number of…
  • Yes, but this is quite a big new thing, and usually packs contain variants of more normal things. So for facial piercings it would be one thing to have specific rings in a pack but the BG to also have some so that the ability for more piercings is open to all. E.g., all Sims can have hair, but some styles are in the…
  • @Cinebar yes, people most certainly do still play cricket. All over the world. Fantastic game, especially a test series, five days per game, coming down to the last over, rain stopped play. Fabulous. That's between GB and Australia. But lots of other countries also play. Sorry, I know it has nothing to do with this pack…
  • Not only do some unis make robots, so do some schools. My sons both made robots in their secondary school in a robotics class, one boy from an earlier year even entered a TV show called Robot Wars with theirs. Yes, they were little robots rather than androids, but nevertheless, teenagers made them. Plus, I would love an…
  • It would make sense to add sports to a uni pack, they are certainly a huge part of uni life in the Ireland and the UK. Many even stick to the school timetable of having Wednesday afternoon free for sports and other non-class activities. I would hope there would be some other societies linked to uni too, for other…
  • You don't butcher animals on your farms, at least not in the UK. And as a veggie I have no desire to eat them anyway. But I want to raise some and do all the other country things. I long for and dread a country pack because there is so much that could be in it I know most won't be and I will be so disappointed. This is by…
