  • Why have you stopped? 2+ years. The first time I regularly played it was the release of the base game. I played it for a day and got bored. I was hesitant to get it too, because the trailer didn't appeal to me either. I tried playing it again recently with some new expansions and got bored after a few days. Have you…
  • That quote is interesting. I don't think anyone expects them to reply to every feedback. But I guess my personal gripe comes from the idea that yes, they may be reading the feedbacks, yes they are watching reviewers and youtubers talk about this most likely since the first year the Sims 4 got released but they continue to…
  • I seriously applaud your patience with this game then! :D
  • Personally, I think it would be weird choice for the company if they decided to stop the Sims franchise. It is still extremely popular, and they have been making money off of recycled ideas for years now. How many franchise or companies can do that without getting major backlash and revenue loss? And I don't want to speak…
  • I hear all of you. Trust me. I was honestly excited to start playing the sims again after so many years. Even having just spent a week with the sims 4, these flaws were obvious and I couldn't help but find a place to rant. Bravo to you guys for sticking with it for five years. Hopefully that "surprise" monthly sims update…
  • You are right, we just want to play a game! EA might as well just hand me a plastic doll and have me story tell.
  • I am always surprised how many people like/love LN. I was really excited about this expansion. But when I actually played it, it was super boring. There is no challenge to becoming a celebrity or vampire at all, clubs get boring after really quickly, apartements are pointless if you eventually want a family (you will be…
  • I just did a little test to see if I could narrow down the problem. I uninstalled all my Sims 3 game (including base). I just reinstalled the Sims 3 without patch 1.42. No crash. Then I proceeded to install patch 1.42, launched the base game. No crash either. I am going to try installing Show Time now.
  • Any help would be much appreciated! :?

  • Yes, it is completely worth it in my experience. I was pretty hesitant about getting WA in the beginning. I got it later on, left it on a shelf for nearly two years, just started it this week and now I can't stop going back for the tomb exploration.
  • I can't believe this is still happening. I had this same problem with all the sims in my household miserable. No mods or CC, etc. I was waiting for them to fix it for months, because it was unplayable. In the end I just installed a mod that fixes it. Seriously EA. They haven't even fixed issues with a previous patch and…
  • I just wish they could fix all the bugs in late night first before they release yet another expansion on top of a shaky foundation.
  • 1. Sometimes when I fast forward the time in Bridgeport, the game freezes on me. 2. Sims at the clubs, bars, and lounges keep complaining about hunger and sleep. Plus it seems the neighborhood is not very "late night" friendly, because once the clock hits 10:00pm everyone starts leaving for home. I checked my computer…
  • I agree! I really miss TS1 Superstar, it was so entertaining and so real in a way. I remember they also had those tour buses that would come by the front of your house, and a horde of sims would get off of it and start snapping pictures. The celebrity career advancement in Superstar was excellent too. I just remembered…
  • Yea the parties are lame. The best party was held by a group of vampires, because sims were actually doing something there, like playing instruments and talking to my sim. But in the others? It was like visiting a friend. This celeb had a party and there was only 2 other people there, and all we did was sit down and watch…
  • Sounds great...especially the availability of weather. BUT even if this is indeed true, I doubt they will release it all in 1 expansion; combining seasons and pet, not like EA..
  • Yep! The graphics are awful for me too :( . Slow and awful if I might add.
  • I am having the EXACT same problem. The graphics are just unbearable, and edge smoothing makes the whole game laggy on the IMac, while the screenshots from EA team is beautiful. I was wondering if this issue has been fixed yet, because I have not been playing my Sims 3 for months now due to this. I did not even have the…
  • Just an update after the patch. Game looks great with the smoothed edges, but lags :(
  • Except for the anti-aliasing issue, everything is running just fine on my IMAC. Medium quality and beautiful.
  • I have the same problem with speed too. I tried everything from lowering my graphics to concentrating on one particular spot, but speed 3 is still horribly slow >.<
  • LOL! The maids are vicious! I'm at level 10 of Rock Star, and most if not everyone reacts with a thought bubble of my sims face with a smiley next to it, EXCEPT the maids, who boo the heck out of me.
  • There is actually a thread on 2. It seems that relationship is much more complicated now in TS3 than in TS2. You can have the guy's baby, but even that won't guarantee marriage. Some people on other forums suggested that it is possible if you spend a couple of days using a lot of romantic interactions.

  • I actually have the same problem. My sim already has his child, and there is a heart beside their relationship. He is labelled as my sims "Romantic Interest". He is single, and he did think my sim was alluring and he is always flirting back, but still no propose option. Will NPC's ever propose to our sims autonomously?
  • The same thing is happening to me too. But a bit differently. My sims look great in the game, but only when they stay in the house. When they walk outside, their features (especially their eyes) gets distorted. Their eyes literally lose colour; everyone is walking around with these creepy, solid black eyes.
  • HAHAH! I recently switched to a mac too, only 20" though. But I love it! I rarely go on my PC now!
