You do not install the patch in the game files. That is probably why it is crashing, it has a unknown program in there. After downloading the 4 Gb patch, click on it to run it, then choose the Sims2EP9.exe in that file location you have to "patch" the game .exe As for the graphic rules, it doesn't work with every graphics…

If you set the resolution to be 1920x1080, you will have all resolutions to choose from between 800x600 and 1920x1080. So you can just try out different ones to see which one will work best for you.

Did you alter the graphic rules and video card files, either by hand or using the graphic rules maker? If not you should, if you did, did you copy the graphic rules and video card files from the Config file to the CSConfig file as well?

There is no way to link your disks to Origin. It is either one or the other, disks or Origin. I am not sure if they will still give out the UC to someone wo has disks, I think they slammed that door shut.

You can try this, if you ran the graphic rules, delete (or move it out of the game folder) the graphic rules with the .sgr at the end. Right click the graphic rules with the ,bak at the end and choose rename. delete the .bak…
