Sorry to hear that, OP. That sort of thing never happens in my Sims 3 games. As for Sims 4, I don't own it and don't plan on it either, at this point. Maybe down the road when some expansions sort out the issues it currently has, I might give it a try. But, honestly, the space on my hard drive can be better used for games…
Trust me, I started "bashing" the game, to use your term, the second I saw the art style. My stance on this latest addition to the franchise is not a new one. I didn't like it from the start and it only got worse in my opinion as time went on, by removing CASt and toddlers. I want Rockstar or Bethesda to make a life…
So...you never complain about anything, I'm guessing? If your meal comes out to you undercooked, you don't send it back to the chef so he can cook it correctly. You just sit there and silently chow down on a raw steak and face the heartbreak of E. coli poisoning instead, because to do otherwise would make you an "entitled…
I would have thought supporting the franchise by buying the expansions in the first place would have counted for something. Basic weather, basic pets. If you throw out the clothing and furniture that came with Sims 3's Pets expansion, you'd cut out a significant portion of the content. I'd like to see a base game with some…
Sure, and then Sims 5 -- if there even is one -- will be even more mired in mediocrity than this version. We might be considered to be "haters" by you, but in fact, we care very deeply about this franchise and would like to see it be the very best it can be, which is why we speak out.
I don't expect everything to be in the base game, but if they put in University, weather and pets, that would free up their expansion schedule to offer things we've never even seen before. Imagine that....paying $70 for a meaty base game and having the anticipation of future games that introduce something like.....a space…
The game needs to be developed by people who enjoy playing a sandbox game. The current crop seem to be a mixture of Facebook game enthusiasts and RPG players making a half-hearted attempt to produce an approximation of what they think a sandbox game is.
I'm sorry to hear about your sims disappearing. I'm also disturbed to see EA continuing the trend of letting modders fix things that are wrong with the game.
You're going to have to upload the picture from your computer to an image hosting site. Popular ones include Photobucket, Imageshack and Tinypic. Just Google one of those names and go from there. The process is pretty self-explanatory once you get to that point.
That's completely untrue. They opened the world because both Sims 1 and 2 had closed worlds, and in those days, they were still interested in innovation. So they opened up the world to create a more realistic portrayal of life in this LIFE SIMULATION.
...not everyone had that experience, though. I'm sorry you did. My sims go to the grocery store and there are 10-14 sims milling about outside. My worlds don't lag and would never be considered "ghost towns."
Listen? Pffft. They don't even play the game. No wonder it's in the state it's in. Grant's a point farmer; RPGs are his thing, which is why he keeps trying to force that element into the game. He's not a sandbox player.
This is not one word of a lie: someone bought My Sims for me, and I never even opened the shrink wrap. :p I feel kinda bad about it, but....it just wasn't my bag, really.
