For that matter, it just occurred to me that Sims have never been able to be enemies when they start out either. That would make for some intriguing first days.

I'm not so fussed about the ones I currently had on the gallery; it's just that the ones that were in my library on the demo have also disappeared in the full game. I haven't checked to see if they are in the demo's library still; I was kind of under the impression that both libraries were one and the same.

Oh, I see. So I can just boot up the demo and do that even though I also have the game installed and it won't interfere with anything? :)

Thanks very much! And thank you, that sounds easy to work around. I just don't want to be at risk of losing a save file or something after waiting so long, since I'll probably play for a long time when it does come. :)

I'm also still yet to receive my game, thought it might come yesterday but haven't checked the status of the delivery yet for this morning. I'm thinking of playing some TS2 today and if it comes later on then great - but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I'm late to the party but my game still hasn't come either, it says it's been delayed which means that it probably won't come today either, but it did say that it was going to come yesterday for certain - I'm not too upset since I have other games to play, but I'm a little bummed I might not have it before school starts…

I'm also glad for an autosave, but I hope that the time it saves is customisable to at least some extent. No matter the case, however, it's a comforting thing to have there, since I'm the kind of player who lets what happens happen and doesn't like to reset in order to undo a mistake or something.

I've made 45 households, mainly of one or two Sims but a few have more. The household I'm the most proud of is one that has 8 Sims in it, but I'm not going to play as them to begin with - I'll use them as townies, probably, or save them for when I've gotten my bearings with the game and can handle that many Sims at once.…

I was actually considering uninstalling TS3 and the expansions but since I have tons of space still on my laptop then there isn't all that much of a point to it, and if I ever want to play TS3 again then installing it again on a whim wouldn't be worth the time, probably. I guess you could see the adult life stage as being the time when a Sim would settle down with a family and have some children whereas the young adult life stage would be all about a Sim's career, relationships and other goals in their life. While we could do it before, I'm glad for this feature, because now it's easier to create the wackier houses we might have had to slave over with columns and such before. I especially love being able to take a room and place it on top of itself in order to go up a level.

I love the idea of the bills being this high, although I have read that money is even easier to come by this time around, so maybe ultimately bills will, once again, stop being an issue after playing for a little while in a stable job. But I guess it depends on how we play.

I've heard some people say that if you can run TS3 then you should be able to run TS4 but don't quote me on that. That's just the rule of thumb I've been hearing around.

I've not really thought about this. Unlike a lot of Simmers I'm quite happy with the selection we already know about (especially comedian; I'm gonna play that one a lot). But off the top of my head, perhaps something to do with languages? Maybe it's just because that's what I want to do with my own life.

Looks fun but I'm starting to realise how bad I am at even coming up with ideas to build, so my builds will surely look out of place with the rest of the neighbourhoods' lots because I'm sure they'll just end up as a few joined up boxes with a fence regardless of the new tools. :p
