Harwood House is a gorgeous build, @Sandraelle :) Such a strong and consistent 'feel' to it, you know? The colours and textures you've chosen are perfect, as is the landscaping. Just checked out your Sussex Manor too—absolutely beautiful!
WOW! I missed this one on the exchange @soocoolsim ; I'm so pleased I found it here. Absolutely stunning in every meticulous detail. The way you've got all the different patterns to work together is inspiring. A masterpiece, as @illusie says. DRF for sure :)
I absolutely adore your farmhouse WIP @60smusicluvr ! The roofline is fabulous—unlike anything I've seen before, but it works so well. And that little circle gate from the mill set is very cute here.
This is such a fun thread. I loved seeing the different creative ways you all had of making your 5x5s work and look great! Excited to check out the entries for the next challenge :)
This is absolutely gorgeous @aricarai ! Can't believe it's a starter! You're so clever. Stunning colours as always, and I love the clutter, all the creative (and conveniently inexpensive) artwork, and of course the architecture. Just amazing :)
Thank you @HappySimmer3 . That's very interesting. For me it seems just to be the blackberry pie recipe. The others I've tested (admittedly not all of them), all seem to use the named ingredients. Thanks also for the link to that mod. I'd seen it before but I'd totally forgotten about it. I'll have a think about whether I…
Thanks @Karritz . Indoor gardens just aren't an option for me because of the way my world is set up. But adding the extra week to summer and taking the 'harvest' in then is working fine. Trees don't usually properly change colour until the end of Sept here in the UK anyway, so perhaps it's even more realistic like that :)…
That's okay; I'm not fussed about the holidays @igazor . I've created thirteen of my own anyway - just for my sims to celebrate, not by modding the game or anything. They're very much centered around the agricultural year, which is why the dormant trees were such a nasty surprise, but if I lengthen my summer I can move…
Thank you @TreyNutz too! I am on day 11 or of a 21 day season so those numbers seem about in line with mine. Yeah, I haven't been able to find anything in DE for dormant plants either. Never mind.
Oh no! :( I was going to do a big autumn harvest. Time to rethink the whole festival year! Thank you very much for the speedy reply though @igazor . You are so generous with your time, and your replies are always informative. I guess there's no way I can fiddle about with Returner or something to control when they stop…
Two more wonderful builds @jennytru ! The sports bar has such an energetic, youthful vibe about it, and the condos look great too. Are the condos for particular DV premades?
Oh wow I did not know you could add sims to community lots! Thank you so much for answering @igazor :) That is very cool. And I'll be able to play the family, provided I use cheats/no bills LTR/etc. to do all the mailbox stuff?
Another one for Riverview I uploaded before Christmas. Been a bit too tired to build anything new the last few weeks, although I'm about to start work on a little project I've been excited about for a while. Anyway, Happy New Year, all xxx It's unfurnished and (as usual) CC-free. More details in this post, or you can go…
Thanks for linking to this for me :) It's looking absolutely amazing! I love all the different buttresses, and the castle pieces seem to line up with them perfectly fine. That said, I think I like the last version the most, with the towers and higher buttresses and the fuller ground floor. It just looks the most in…
Sims get so easily distracted! They're always staring at stuff. Sometimes it makes them feel more realistic, but sometimes it's too much or the wrong angle and it just looks weird and creepy. If a sim is stuck staring at something, you can use: testingcheatsenabled on moviemakercheatsenabled on shift+click on sim tuff off…
This is such a lovely idea, and your brochure looks wonderful! I think you could put them in any world you like - and the suggestions you've received so far have been great - but if it were my own game my instincts would probably be: Bridgeport or Riverview for Smugglesworth. They're obviously very different worlds but I…
