  • I can safely say I've never had any sims marry in the sims 4. Maybe in the future, but I dunno... I don't like throwing any kind of events. Too many sims in one place drives me crazy.
  • I've noticed that the bigger my houses are or the nicer the furniture, there's high bills. Of course I never thought about the inventories so I'm going to get rid of them and see how it goes. I've got bills at like 12,000 sometimes and I'm like... how? I used to think that like owning TVs and Computers made stuff go…
  • Oasis Springs -- I live in the Northeast in real life so... yeah. Totally I'd go for the desert world.
  • I don't want to use them, but I tend to find myself using them for Sims 4... the bills are SO high... or is it just me?
  • Backyard and Vintage stuff... I wanted to pick the Kitchn one and the movie one because I had really big high hopes for those when I bought them, but they kind of fell a little short.
  • I love small houses, but medium houses show a purpose as well. I don't like any space left untouched and sometimes it just doesn't seem practical to have such a huge house and all of this empty space...or space that has to be filled with the same stuff in different styles.
  • Thanks for this thread. Someone told me to repair my game, but I didn't want to go through doing that because I knew something had to give. I guess I changed clothes on the home lot and I didn't realize it at first because my sim was doing his laundry on vacation in Jungle Adventure. Then suddenly, he couldn't wash…
  • I almost cried at your mention of a Casino. I wish there were casinos... even a slot machine like in Sims 3 and I'd be thankful. I am literally BEYOND tired of all the kid/family stuff in The Sims -- period. It seems so much now for the Sims 4 when I think back on all my years of Sims gaming. Sims 1 was never ever like…
  • He's the only gamer I listen to. I buy packs only after seeing his reviews. He keeps it real unlike the other gamers I've run into. They seem bubbly and overly excited for every little thing. Not my speed, but respect all around.
  • @egwarhammer Sorry for the late reply. It was the fish mod by plasticbox. When I went over to modthesims2 I realized that it had already been an issue from a while ago. I had no idea because I just started getting an idea of making a fish shop, so I did -- and I didn't want my fish to spoil so I found the mod and put it…
  • Something in my my game mods folder must have just stopped working recently. I moved everything back except the misc mods folder I have. Just going through it now to test each one. Again, thanks.
  • I think so... I'll check, but it worked fine last night and I updated a day or so (and played for hours) after the new update. Unless there was another one that I forgot about it. There was a few pieces of CCs that I moved into new folders after testing them for nearly two weeks earlier today and then when I owned the game…
  • Well -- that seemed to do the trick which is weird. The few mods I had in a testing folder didn't cause errors, but earlier today I moved the few items into the organized mods folders I have within my mods folder and things went nuts. Thanks for the help. I guess sometimes that happens.
  • Yes, it worked when I was within the new game. Let me see about doing that all over again. Maybe something will take -- who knows.
  • I just finished doing exactly what you said and it still isn't working. I'm not sure what else I can try. I hope this isn't broken forever. I just started playing after working on my neighborhood and sims for months.
  • Nope. They're just gone. I even had a sim go fish as that's what he does and he caught a fish, it never went into his inventory. I tried to place things inside of his inventory and they're gone. I've removed mods and I've repaired the game... still nothing. I even tried to go to another sim family and all of their…
  • Is it just the aging that's causing an issue? Suddenly 2 of my sims living on the same lot have lost their inventory. I played last night... everything was working just fine. The only thing I did out of the norm last night was have my sim talk to the woman walking around for that boost in skills and so forth. He's also…
  • This is annoying. What if someone wants to just take out the CC eyes and put new ones in? These are my own sims and now I've got to looks for eye overlays to get rid of the standard brown. Very annoying. They ought to fix this issue asap.
  • Thanks. I will. I haven't put any mods back in the game yet, but I did clear a lot of things I didn't even need in the first place. It's a process, but it is what it is.
  • Thanks for the help from the both of you. I removed all the mods and custom content from my game and sure enough the massage table worked. I'm now remaking my cc/mods folder. There's a lot of stuff in there I don't even need, but I "swore" I was going to use. Hopefully what I'm putting back in won't mess up the game again,…
  • Ah. Thank you -- this is exactly what I was looking for. I had the spoons/knives too far down. Thank you!
  • rosemow -- thanks. I never tried the 50/50 method. I don't have THAT much CC... but what I did was I disabled all that the detector told me had "conflicts" and now my CAS works.... I'm going to have to go through that list one by one so that's a help already because it's slimmed down. Yup, I checked for those two mods you…
  • Thanks KendallKatz. I tried it and it came up with several packages highlighted in aqua... does that mean I have to remove all of them with that color? They are labeled "mods", "game changes", or "mod conflicts" Things like CC that are eyebrows, lips, shrubs... and then other actual mods. How can I tell?
  • This is the first patch that's made my CC not work for me... very frustrating. I removed all of my mods and everything is back to normal... it's going to be a nightmare trying to find out which CC is causing the problem. I do have organized folders, but there's a lot of content in those folders. Would something like the…
  • React as in do they stink? haha. Other than that, I haven't noticed they find issues with the lights off.
  • I'd be in interested. I really liked the Casino items for the Sims 3. I know some people didn't see a point to it or didn't find luck, but I'd have my poor sims gambling for hours and they'd hit it real big. I really loved that because that was extra cash they could spend.
  • I haven't played with sims in the retail area just yet... reading this is surprising. How can you be an owner, but you're unemployed? If anything you're self-employed, not unemployed. Ahh -- enough of my pet peeves at the moment. I don't think you're the only one that plays this way. The only careers I liked for my sims…
  • That would be great. I love the whole vintage/classical style. The Sims would look amazing with that.
  • The candy bowl is awesome. It's just a cute, quirky perk. I love the decorations as well... I adore Autumn and all that goes with it.
