I preferred vampires and not just because vampires are cooler. I really liked the idea of having weaknesses which makes vampires unique and different from a gameplay perspective. I think it's a very well designed pack.
I had the same feeling. Personally I started enjoying college more when I did less classes per semester and more free time to goof around. But the actual experience of graduating is still meh.
Unless they do something revolutionary with Sims 5 I'll stick with TS4. I really don't want to wait years for expansions to finally have a somewhat fulfilling experience.
I doubt we will ever get a gambling theme in TS4 but I really like the music pack idea. If we could make bands and jam with other sims a la Sims 3 that would be awesome.
I totally agree with OP. The sims need more drama. The sims is about creating our persona stories and everyone knows that personal stories are aweful without a bit of drama. Make events that are meaningful, mark sims in a permanent and unique way.
I think you're entirely missing the point here. What you're criticizing is graphical performance/clitches, those are definitely annoying but can easily be fixed with a single patch. Now what a lot of people are criticizing TS4 for is core game design which is extremely hard to fix.
I completly agree with this thread. I feel like TS4 has an identity crisis: It's was designed for children but most of the content (EPs) is aimed towards young adults.
