  • I think it's awesome they let your toddlers eat more than just baby food. My sister-in-law chose to do "baby led weaning" for my niece; basically you breast feed and around 6 months you start introducing appropriate real foods... skipping any "baby food". I guess it helps raise your little to be less picky eaters.
  • I don't remember Sims 2 sleeping positions and bed interactions too well, so thanks for the screenshots @catloverplayer . Can someone break down the differences between Sims 2 vs. 3 for me? The only thing I can vividly remember was the teens making out on the bed animations. I made a LOT of Degrassi sims back then and…
  • Kiss, the avatar AND the signature. *mental note to rewatch Chrismukkah episodes this week*
  • I got the worlds bundle with Monte Vista and Hidden Springs with the Origin 30% off code. Haven't gotten to try Hidden Springs yet because I'm obsessed with Monte Vista.
  • I've been enjoying autumn in Twinbrook. Nice to have leaves I don't have to rake, like my IRL ones. (Also, this is my first pic I've posted to the boards :) sorry if this isn't formatted correctly)
  • Sims 3 specific: Absent-minded, excitable, avant garde, eccentric, night owl, nurturing, good sense of humor, cat person 4/Both: Bookworm, childish, clumsy, goofball, insane (feels like it sometimes, heh)
  • @Mikezumi I don't even watch Buffy, but I recognized your Spike sim immediately. Great job! @Simsister2004 your Liza is fabulous! Definitely worth being proud of :)
  • Will probably try to set up the workroom from RuPaul's Drag Race and get a bunch of queens to use them all at the same time, recreate some moments from the show. Also have male children using their moms' vanity to worry their conservative parents a bit.
  • The weather effects honestly annoy me when on my own lot with walls down and rain is like, obscuring my view. BUT now that I am playing on higher settings, it truly is beautiful to gaze at the surrounding town during the different seasons. I'm in Michigan so our seasons are all over the place. Must say I love snow in the…
  • I'm making Connie and Raymond Marble from the John Waters movie, Pink Flamingos (btw my username is also from a John Waters movie). Anyway, in the movie they are two evil people, and have a butler named Channing that wears a pink coat... He spies on his bosses, then dresses like them and acts out their conversations when…
  • At this point, new aspirations and new traits, lots of them. The aspirations are either so easy to complete, or so limited Sims end up doing the same ones. I dont expect them to completely overhaul the system, but at least multiple tracks with different milestones for the aspirations they already have. So instead of…
  • I created a single sim based on Alex Vause from Orange is the New Black, because I wanted to play criminal sim. I forget which town it was in, but I took her to the criminal building to apply for a job. There was a dumpster outside and I decided to let her dive for stuff (wanted to start out with little funds and…
  • Nowhere near as savvy as many of you simmers, but thanks to the tips in here I've been able to get much more stuff from the Sims 3 store the past few days. And farming for Simpoints is my new "I can't sleep" activity! I was starting to get a little confused by criticism of Sims 4 stuff packs, thinking how expensive the…
  • I use lots of CC, maxis match and non, for sims 4 and 3. I definitely understand others complaints and do think some sims with CC get out of hand... but I like it to add variety to my Sims, and don't really care if my played Sims tend to look better than townies. I tend to get really repetitive when limited to the maxis…
  • I missed the livestream but I'm happy to read the feedback here! Really pausing and soaking in the stuff on the trailer has me excited. Looks like the livestream did not disappoint, regarding butlers, the vanity, and the like. Though I still have a lot of Christmas shopping to do, I'll have this as the one little gift I…
  • @king_of_simcity7 Thanks! And don't get me wrong, I love Sims 3. I started playing Sims back when the original came out, only played a little bit of Sims 2, and only just got back into Sims this summer. Started with Sims 3 and got tons of expansions during summer sales, and was super obsessed. Picked up 4, and eventually…
  • I think a butler NPC is more fair for a stuff pack, than say, a fireman which is a community service and should be patched. I doubt there is a simmer out there that wouldn't want to have the option to have the fire dept come when there was a fire. Not everyone who owns sims 4 is dying for a butler. And if the functionality…
  • I'm so excited by this pack! Seems like a great collection of objects and CAS stuff. The butler seems like you could make some interesting stories with it... Same with the vanity table. Like, a boy who has very strict, traditional parents and the parents find him trying on makeup.
  • I think it is great we have the option, and there is nothing obscene about it unless you use mods to make it that way. When I was a young girl and played with Barbies, yes you take their clothes off and see Barbie and Ken in the nude. So in a way, Sims is even a toned down version of that with the censor. Glad the…
  • I like his videos and I think he's been pretty level headed about Sims 4. I might like the game a bit more than him, but any criticism he gives is warranted. He tells it like he sees it and is pretty lighthearted about it. I don't watch his videos for a sunshine and rainbows perspective on all the good things about each…
  • I've heard about the bugs and frustrations of other players from when the pack was first released and was holding off on it at first. Really missing the presence of restaurants in the game, and reading experiences of those who were quite happy with the pack, I caved and bought it the other week. I think a lot of the hate…
  • Pets, personally. But for the people who want toddlers, I'd choose you getting toddlers even if it meant I never get Pets in sims 4. I think Toddlers are easier to botch if implemented poorly. Also the patch vs. expansion issue is complicated. It should be patched but all the things that'd need to be included with the…
  • @king_of_simcity7 I love your London pics! At first I thought I was looking at a Sims 3 build, heh, but quickly realized it was not. Probably a testament to Sims 3 building tools and all the impressive builds I've seen, that I mistook Croydon for something from the game. I'm not a huge family play fan but I check back in…
  • I'm so glad this thread was resurrected so I could see it! I will definitely be adding some of these lots to the game. Thanks for the beautiful work @Dannydanbo ! Never would have been able to make such a brilliant Hogwarts myself. All the sims who have the stack of Harry Potter book stack CC in their homes will be quite…
  • I've never been able to get into legacy/generational play personally, but I definitely see its appeal. Personally, I have no interest in having kids of my own, even though I think kids are great. So I think my playstyle reflects that. I am very career and objective oriented, so I tend to focus on one Sim and work towards…
  • I got Supernatural today because of the Steam sale, and WOW I am in love with the fairies. The wings are mesmerizing! Makes me feel like a little girl again, both the aesthetics and the gameplay. I'm so excited to explore all this pack has to offer, and spend more time on TS3 in general.
  • Yum (though I prefer them scrambled, boiled or as an omelet) Bacon-wrapped asparagus?
  • I don't go to the spa much, and haven't played around with building spa lots. I do, however, use items from the pack all the time. Yoga is by far my favorite, and the meditation is really cool as well. Also loved the introduction of the aquarium. What I was surprised to find was how nice the CAS stuff was. Every sim I make…
  • "traits.equip_trait trait_hidden_career_critic_thrifty" haha wow, that's a long cheat. Thanks for the link! I'm sure these will come in handy.
