The whole purpose of running a business is to make money. Customer satisfaction plays a large part in how much revenue a product draws - if the customers don't like the product, your revenue will be lower. Fact.
Their job is to create a product that satisfied the consumer. They are being paid to create a high quality end product: if they don't do so, it's on them.
That is incorrect. When trading in the UK, a company must comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other high standards set by the Office of Fair Trading (hence why Steam's refund policy is illegal).
I don't really think anyone on this forum should be giving parenting advice - it's not the event that the OP is complaining about, just how it happened: aka out of her control. Big twists like cheating should be up to the player.
EA's advertising has been misleading since The Sims 2's trailer. Babys breathing fire and swinging on fans, really, EA? edit: Back in the days of real advertising with actual gameplay. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIwXl5JXuII https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuDrYHUnawo
The problem is with writing a legacy is that it's always so tempting to play and get really far ahead... which I have done. The Quinn Legacy blog is very behind!
My current legacy heir (not in the blog yet) is a police officer and has had to arrest one of her niece's friends. Should be an interesting post in a month or two! From what I can gather the content is pretty good; I would certainly recommend it, though I've only played the police career so far.
