• I've long thought about how TS5 could resurrect my love for The Sims. I've only played two hours of TS4 in total, and since then approx. 400 hours of TS3. How could TS5 not only bring The Sims back to a state of high quality, but surpass previous iterations? There are several things A return of the open world and…
• I used to really enjoy the Sims1 - Sims 2 era spin-offs such as Castaway, Urbz and Bustin' Out. I wish they would create a spin-off compilation and release it.
• If they do, they should edit it so that it includes the Store Edition. I haven't been able to use my old neighbourhoods in years, and even after I found a copy Fun with Pets, the disc simply doesn't contain the EP99 folder.
• I too am having this problem. The link provided to SimsCommunity.com only sends me to a defunct page. I have tried the aforementioned methods, but the problem still persists. Does anyone have a solution?
• I definitely prefer TS3 to TS4. I'm also not entirely sure whether or not I prefer TS3 or TS2, however TS4 remains my least favourite. I see it as a significantly shallower version of TS2.
• I would love it if they released The Sims Stories and The Sims console releases. I'm still hoping they bring a re-release of Castaway and The Urbz to Origin.
•
See broken final version of Sims 3 as evidence. Try playing it with all expansions for a decent amount of time, it'll become unplayable eventually.
I’ve never encountered any issues with TS3 and I have all of the EPs and every SP up to Town Life Stuff. The game gets much slower the more…
• I agree completely. I played TS4 for app. 1 hour upon release and immediately requested a refund. I only picked it up again a few months ago when EA offered the base game for free via Origin. I haven't paid a single pence for anything related to TS4 due to how disinterested I have been in this iteration of The Sims. I'm…
• The most akin to the town i live in is Sims University. I live in a small city known for its university. However, Sunset Valley bears the greatest resemblance to my hometown. Incidentally, Sunset Valley is one of my favourite towns in TS3.
• I love both TS2 and TS3, as each one has provided me with hundreds of hours of entertainment. TS3 has some of the best customisation in any of The Sims games bar none, and the sheer amount of game-play options (when all EPs are installed) is unparalleled in any game I've played. However, the sims themselves sometimes seem…
• I believe I may have identified the issue. According to a webpage on SimsNetwork, the store edition of TS2 contains some data files that are absent from the Ultimate Collection. Subsequently, neighbourhoods from one will be incompatible with the other unless one transfers some of the game files from the store edition files…

Do the files inside the neighborhood folder match the name of the folder? For example if the folder is named N001, then all the files inside should…
• > @Mstybl95 said: > Did you update the game before or after you put the neighborhood files in the game folder? I did update the game, but as soon as I did all of the neighbourhoods, including the pre-made neighobourhoods, have disappeared. The files are still in the Neighborhoods folder, but the game refuses to acknowledge…
• > @Rflong7 said: > Instead of deleting the whole folder- neighborhoods- let it generate the folder and then just move the neighborhood folders you want: N00#. - is what I do and I didn't have a problem. Not that I know if it's better or not. Just a suggestion to try. > > You still have your old neighborhoods files backed…

• I have recently been given a digital copy of The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection, yet in my attempts to transfer all of my save files to the Ultimate Collection via copy/paste, I have encountered an error. For some reason, the Ultimate Collection refuses to recognise my transferred custom neighbourhoods. This is made even more…
