  • I have gotten this problem now since I decided to update the game. Is the only way to get rid of it to unsinstall the base game?
  • You know what.. Nevermind. Please delete this thread. I regret starting it in the first place.

According to legend, the game will crash if you try to remove AM and play forward without taking extra…
  • But will it work if I just put in awsomemod? I mean does awsome mod fix major game problems?
  • Update: I tried again to start a new game, in Bridgeport, with a totally clean folder but the game keeps on crashing when it has reached around 95% of the loading.

I've lost track lately as I don't use AM anymore, but others do and the mod has been supported and updated through 1.67 and beyond. Perhaps you are looking for current versions in the wrong…
  • it crashed when I tried to start the game on a totally clean folder. I think I got to the "start a new game" window and then it crashed when it tried to load. Seems like the lastest awsomemod version is for the 1.57 Update
  • > @igazor said: > Hi there. The only mods for which the new 1.69 patch itself triggers the need for an update are Core Mods, and there aren't very many of those around for TS3. From NRaas, those would be ErrorTrap and UntranslatedKey. But without having updated those, if you have them, you would get a core version mismatch…

You can then add back your saves, mods, dc cashe folder, downloads, sims etc files from the the sims 3 file you put at desktop back to the new file you created. I…
  • I tried to follow that tutorial but I found that I dont have an option.ini file anywhere. Does it gets created when you start the game and where should it be?

  • > @igazor said: > The sims might be corrupt. Can you bring them into CAS using testingcheats and shift-click (or MasterController if you use it) and re-select their skins and other items? I will try that out the next time I play.
  • I know that. But as far as I know I have the skins, the hairs, the clothes that's needed for the sims to show up.
  • I didn't download them from the exchange. I can try to contact the creators if I figure out how to (some of the are asians) One of the sims worked and I played with it but now it's just black with nothing but sims 3 hair and clothes :(
  • Hi again (after some time) I didn't get the family tree to work in the family but I think that it might be something wrong with the whole lot since I can't see it on the map unless I zoom in on it. I will try to move the family to another house and see if it fixes it.

  • i don't have an Overrides folder in there :o I didn't know that the game doesn't see the mods if they're in downloads. Why doesn't the uploader of mods say that you should put them in the package folder? :/ But anyway so I'll put Overwatch in the package folder and then it should work on it's own?
  • I always put my mods in the downloads folder :o I will move them to the mods folder right away. So you just put Overwatch there and it will do the work by itself?

  • Thank you for your explanation. I understand these mods alot better now! :) But.. do i just drop Overwatch in the download folder, and do I have to install it, or is it like a file that I have to activate/use myself? Sorry if my texts doesn't make sence.. I suck at explaining in English ^^'
