Thank you, it seems that your advice was on point. It took some more getting to know each other, but they are both ready now and going at it like rabbits. Little baby sims are definitely forthcoming. Thanks, everyone!
They have been relaxing on the bed for many sim hours, making out, cuddling, etc. There just isn't any option to move beyond that. I haven't tried any of the other places you mentioned. Maybe I'll make them a closet just in case that's their thing.
Their green bars are maxed out. There is a red heart by the female sim's green bar and a pink heart by the male sim's green bar. It's just weird that it would take them so long to get to that point when in sims 4 you basically flirt with someone three times and they are climbing into the woohoo bush with you
Nope, not surprising. Strangerville is amazing and I'm not surprised simmers like it. It's a cool story, comes with unique build mode stuff, and the neighborhood is a lot of fun.
Inheritance needs to be fixed, and it's comically easy to make a lot of money painting. I think only certain quality paintings should be able to be sold.
Of old age while painting. It was jarring because I hadn't considered that sims might die of old age, particularly not while they look that young, and I certainly didn't know the game had a grim reaper in it.
I managed two successful marriages with my unflirty sim before he died. Getting the relationship off the ground is a bit of a challenge, but their flirty interactions are pretty funny, and once they're married they don't seem to have any problem showing affection.
I don't see how werewolves could be incorporated into such a lighthearted game. Vampires drink plasma, but it's kind of comedic when they do it and the victim just slumps over asleep for a while. Witches could cast all kinds of funny temporary spells on sims. What do werewolves do? Well, they maul you. They tear you to…
This part strikes me as particularly true. Given that most of the jobs just consist of your sim disappearing for a few hours and then reappearing, it seems like there should be dozens of jobs available at the least. It's not like it would require a huge amount of data; It's just text, and most of the time the text that…
I had one failed female/female marriage that was caused by both of them WooHoo-ing with their roommate, Don Lothario. They were an angry mess for a while and I had to evict Don.
When I first started playing I would always put the bed against the wall, which makes it impossible to WooHoo. For days I thought WooHoo was just when two sims got really excited, then stared at the bed together for a while (which to my credit, I thought was very odd). It was only after I placed a bed away from the wall…
I haven't tried it, but I read in another thread that the sim is restored to the beginning of the age they were when they died. So if they die of old age, they will go back to the beginning of the elder phase.
What I do is go to imgur, select "new post", upload the image, right click on it and open it in a new tab, copy that url, then use CTRL-V to paste it into the "Img URL" box at the top of "Leave a Comment". There may be an easier way to do it, but I'm not aware of one.
