@Rflong7 One of the things the first Sims game had that I wish they'd brought back for 2 was Studio Town where Sims could record music, do television and movie scenes or do modeling shoots.

@Lucy_Henley Same here. I try to keep my main 'hoods mostly residential and have shopping districts and downtown areas for most of the businesses. I quickly lose interest in building so I steal all my subhoods and lots from Mod the Sims.
@StrawberryYogurt Mostly I gravitate toward the strip malls so my Sims can eat something, get some coffee, buy some clothes and meet at least a few new townies and/or service Sims while out and about. @DevSims91 Agreed. The Stories games were a blast. I've played them multiple times. I was excited to find Sims 2 compatible recreations of the Stories' neighborhoods on Mod the Sims. There's no story function to them though.
