@Karritz i was able to safe it normally this time, but now if i start the game, it says there's a mistake in the register (my computer is set to Dutch, so i'm not sure if register is the right translation). Btw, when i want to save the sgr documents after i edited them on notepad, it says that it's opened elsewhere and i can't save it therefore. So i saved them to my desktop and then deleted the original ones and replaced them with the ones i saved to my desktop.. am i doing this right?

@Sid1701D9 Thanks a lot!! I will do this as soon as possible, and let you know if it worked. I remember trying something like this before, but then I was not able to actually save the graphicRules and graphiccards file.. for some reason. Anyway, I'll let you know if it worked, thanks!

@ceejay402 Thanks for your response. I followed all the steps, and The Sims 3 is now listed as a program using the Nvidia GPU.
